i love how it looks like a toy fire truck, but is still a great, respectable product. the world needs more good guitar gear that looks fun, in my opinion.

There is no doubt about it: your demos / reviews are always the best and the most usefull & informative on KZfaq land. I have seen so many half baked / quick and pretty dirty reviews of Mooer/Caline/Hotone which are being trashed in 2min just because they are not the big names (I mostly think about the A team...). To me, your demos always trully represent the product wherever it comes from. Thanks a LOT for that honesty and true dedication to what you are doing. I bought several pedals based on your reviews and cannot be more happy with what I got. We need more guys like you on KZfaq.

I really like this multi effects pedal. Seems like it has most everything of what's on my pedal board and takes up less space!

Torn by this as if you look at digital multifx pedals it seems pricey in comparison, but also has some cool ideas in it. I suppose we will see more and more of this type of analogue multifx now though, so interesting to see Mooer leading the charge!

Great review, as always. A lot of multi-effects units that aren't Boss, Line 6, Headrush, Digitech, or any of the other industry giants tend to get a bad rap, many times due to their comparably diminutive price tags. The whole, "get what You pay for" scenario, if You will. This is a prime example of how Mooer & Nux are serious contenders, well worth deeper investigation. One could argue that through a Fender Blues Reissue, in a sound controlled room, in the hands of quite capable guitarist, anything could be made to sound good. Although this may be true, it still comes across as a great, little unit, with all the basics, plus a few little extras, & very user friendly, like having individual stop-boxes, great for a novice just building their rig, or a seasoned pro looking to have all their necessities in one, sleek, affordable package. Yeah, I'm probably getting one of these.

Great review Shane I have one of these and they are a beast for live playing . The Dist and OD really cut through in a live band setting. Just bring your volume pedal with you and you are in business ! A great tough little rig , easy to use , neat and tidy . I also add a Mooer micro preamp in the fx loop and turn it into a 2 channel rig , with this set up I have plugged direct into a PA with great results. They just came out with the Black Truck too , you should review that one too. I have both as their price does not wreck tbe grocery budget !! Great job again Shane!

Does this unit have a chromatic tuner on it? Does it allow you to tune a string to any pitch or just standard tuning? I tune to E flat and use various other open tunings regularly.

What are your favorite settings for delay and reverb . Just starting out with both and would just like a ballpark setting for each, if you don’t care and get the chance.thanks

I just got one of these as part of my rehearsal/backup/nanorig with my DV Mark Little GH250 and NeoCreamback-loaded 112 cab. I’m running it in 4CM and it’s really well made and sounds great. Blows away the Quattro I owned previously at a fraction of the price. Good demo too. PS: make sure you have a Boss-style 9v power supply, as it doesn’t ship with one.

I bought a 2nd hand one. I am a bit confused by the DELAY settings, how do I get a clean 'Slap Back' effect for playing RnR and Rockabilly?? I think 1/4??

the Nux board has less knobs but appear to off more variations...the reverb on this...what is i plate, room, hall. spring...only 1 type and the routing on the nux is better plus has midi and more in/out points..and cheaper!

Most of the fantastic tone is due to your Fender Blues Junior. I play the Boss GT100 through a Marshall MGCFX30, and it is not that nice. However, the GT100 sounds fantastic via headphones. Please do a review of the Boss GT100.

Hello. I have a doubt and surely you can help me. I've never had this pedalboard in my hands, but I understand how presets are created. What is not clear to me is if each preset created is saved exactly as it was done, that is, are the parameters of each effect included in the preset (levels, tones, gains, etc.) saved? I'm asking you this because I read somewhere on the web that "preset mode only save the switch state, but parameters cannot be saved".

Shane, what do you reckon when you compare it to their GE200? The GE200's got all the bells and whistles for only about $50 more.

If I didn't already have a bunch of pedals I would probably grab one of these. I think Mooer makes pretty decent stuff for the money. I think that quality per price wise, EHX stuff is the best compromise. And I think this thing looks more like a bus than a truck. Just saying.

The pedal would be perfect if they had not forgotten to put an auxiliary input. In my opinion, this omission limited the use of this equipment.

ugh, i'm in a group that doesn't use 440HZ so the tuner is useless cause it don't adjust, other than that..

Been looking at this and The Nux Cerebral. The Red Trucks Drive and Distortion to me sound better over all than The Cerebral. The only thing that turns me off a bit about Red Truck is the Modulaion. I played it at GC on The Black Truck (Modulation same as Red Truck) and hearing it in You Tube- The Nux Cerebral sounds more pro. The Red T's Mod section just sounds kind of cheesy. It makes me want to Buy the Red Truck and just add my own Modulation pedal. Or Buy the Nux and add my own Overdrive. The Nux appears to have more options/features though incl more Reverbs more Chorus's to choose from. But just for a a quick dial in with The Red Truck- just using mostly everything except the Modulation section it sounds really good. I really like the time signatures of the delay dial switch. You can go from a quick Rock a Billy slap to a longer Van Halen or Santana type delay. Although the Nux seems to have that same funtion Im sure it can be dialed in.

The rk5 is better quality. Smaller, almost same price and comes with a power supply. Of course some less features like Flanger tremolo, but tech 21 rk5 is a better product for the purposes it was made . Just my opinion.

The tone on this demo was markedly better than the tone on the Anderton’s review. That first guitar tone (distortion/delay/reverb) was very Santana-esque. I know where there’s a used one. 🤫 🤐 😉 I’m getting it now. 🤙🏼

It's a shame you can only use the BOOST layered onto the Distortion or Overdrive Channels. It would make more sense to be able to switch it in & out over those channels to make the LEADS stand out! ... Apart from that, it sounds pretty cool What do others here think? ...Joe

Why are all you demo-ers so obsessed with distortion and overdrive? Some of us would like to know more about the clean sounds! And why no close-ups of the settings on the different fx. I bought one to use with a pedal steel and I'm no wiser on how to set it after watching this whole video!

Less delay…..way too much. Live, just a little echo with only 1 or 2 repeats is good, unless you’re doing comfortably numb
