This man was signed as the next big thing. His Highlights at Tottenham & Wales not just Real Madrid were just as impressive. Gareth Bale came in to Real Madrid to slowly take over from Ronaldo although they played in different positions at their time in Madrid & although Bale played out of position at Madrid for 1 or 2 seasons he genuinely looked like he could maybe not replace Ronaldo but definitely be up there as one of the best in the world other than Messi & Ronaldo like Neymar & Suarez were at the time. Also funny how y'all talked about Galácticos & compared Messi, Suarez & Neymar to Bale, Benzema & Ronaldo because it was all the world was talking about during this time ! Who was better lol I personally believe Messi ,Suarez & Neymar were slightly better at the time but that's my own opinion. Benzema only really took off & started scoring like crazy this season while back than Suarez was probably the best striker in the world. I also think that during Neymars prime years at Barcelona he was a better player than Bale although Gareth Bale was so good. Bales also known for turning up on the big occasions for both Real Madrid & his country Wales. That bicycle kick you see in every compilation by Bale was done in a UCL final for example.

I respect your opinion,I know MSN produced crazy numbers of goals nd assists and also they were dominating the Spanish league but they didn't win much on European stage infact they only won UCL just once while they played for more time than BBC,i believe to be recognised as the best Trio ever you have to prove it on a bigger stage that is UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE on the other hand BBC was tearing apart every defence in Europe heck they played a big part in winning Real Madrid 'The Three peat' UCL if it wasn't for Cristiano's transfer they would've have added 2 more UCL before eventually parting their own ways,

@@arjenrobbed1294 this is a common misconception held nowadays. What do you mean I don't analyze or understand football ? I'm a proffesional footballer lol Benzema was almost a meme 5-10 years ago. The amount of guilt edged chances he'd miss was outrageous. Sure, although I wouldn't call him a False 9 (can't remember Real Madrid ever playing a False 9 but anyways) he did have more to his game back than, his movement off the ball was excellent but he never contributed enough assist wise either. I don't live on short termism my friend. I appreciate Benzema has been a great striker since his Lyon days (were I genuinely thought he could reach R9 levels) however he was no where any Ballon dor list ,no where to be seen on any top goal scorer charts or top assist charts. Great Movement off the ball and the occasional goal was enough when you had Ronaldo & Bale either side of you However it was never enough to put him up there with a Suarez for example. Again that's just my opinion, no need for name calling like little children. If I don't understand football than 99.9% of these comments don't either. I've played against & alongside some of the best players in the world today. I know what distinguishes a good player from a great player not just by analysing the game but by playing the game first hand. Thanks for the comment anyways.

In America generally NBC sport, ESPN, CBC are a disgrace to football broadcast and football press, This is a business that tries to sell the idea that the premier league is the best in the world 🌎🌍, tries also to sell it as an NFL, NBA, MLB marketing style. This is really dangerous to the football market, English language is a tool well used to shape viewers toward English teams rather than Italian, Spanish teams ...by fact they have more legendary success and class than English teams, stating teams such as Real Madrid, FC Bayern, FC Barcelone, AC Milan, inter milan, Ajax Amsterdam, Juventus.....
