Honestly was a really cool and interesting idea to make a dragon based on mixing members of the Jade Winglet! I hope this could turn into something like the hybrid challenge with people having their own spins on what they think the characters' children would look like! Maybe even doing it with different characters like separated by arcs or something. I don't know. I just think it's a really cool concept!

Just realized that I've gone all this time thinking Nightwings breathe purple fire, only to check the book and realize that intro page says nothing on it...

I think the name Beluga would've been really cute for the Winter x Turtle hybrid but I still love the name Seal

I came up with some hybrid Moonbli dragonets years ago! Called them Starseeker and Rune :)

Whenever I do the hybrid challenge, I take the first tribe I get from the spinner and use it as the mother tribe, then use the second one as the father tribe, since hybrid dragons always take more after their mothers. Thought sharing this would give you an excuse draw this series out a little longer and to make more hybrids for the Jade Winglet, have some variation in the dragonets. You could of course also do the other winglets- ooh, how about making hybrids across all five winglets? I use a spinner wheel to pick my dragons, much easier than trying to remember what number a tribe is, and it lets you hide options you don’t want.

I really like this idea of fusions/dragonets. I've really only seen it to this extent in the WC fandom, glad to see WOF hypodragonets getting appreciation!

I would love an AU where each hybrid was a character and Qibli is just being an open polyamorous boy

My favorite hybrid so far HAS to be Seal, I just wanna pick him up and hold him like burger

Great content as always with these! The books tend to more support the theory that a hybrid's mother has the dominant genes (think of Sunny, Typhoon, Darkstalker, etc.) but these are way more interesting in my opinion. Can't wait for Winterwatcher, since that's my favorite ship in the whole series.

All of these designs are gorgeous! ;o; The colors on Cereus's designs are very pretty, and the mix of orange and reddish-orange in Pepper's mane is absolutely neat! Seal is adorable and I love his rounder body shape, plus the name Seal is truly perfect for ice/sea hybrid
