I believe when Tawaret saves them from the sand wave, she shouts, "Osiris you big softy..." which seems to imply that Osiris heard what Mark said to Steven and opened his gates so that the sand wouldn't consume them. The wave coming after them was probably the Duat itself, and Osiris is god of the decreased (specifically death and rebirth) so you can assume he has some power to choose. His position in the pantheon was typically that of the King/Pharaoh that had passed on to the underworld, and his son Horus representsthe living King/Pharoah, so this also lends to Osiris' high status in the Egyptian pantheon, and would also explain his ability to make such hefty decisions such as who lives and who dies. His avatar was the guy in charge during the convening of the avatars.

@@haavey some was from memory, some was a quick Google search, lol, but yeah I missed that line when I watched the episode and paid closer attention during the reactions, so I was like, huh.. I needed an explanation as to why the doors opened and saved them, no one seemed to question it, I also wonder if Steven and Marc are sharing that heart that they were holding before being unsanded, as opposed to having separate hearts during episode 5

As someone who has suffered with mental health issues, PTSD, etc this show perfectly explained trauma and the results it can bring to a person, and this show helped teach me that the only person holding me back is me and I need to learn to appreciate myself despite my faults and differences which is something I really needed.

Moon Knight and Layla teaming up was pretty awesome and the Egyptian Gods fighting each other was pretty EPIC, but this episode was way too short IMO, especially for a season finale.

I keep seeing that criticism, but no one follows it up with what else they could’ve added. They really nailed every story point they needed to hit & there wasn’t any wasted time. This was one of the few finales I was actually truly satisfied with, in terms of the Disney+ shows.

It might actually get season 2 I think. Official MCU accounts went from "series finale" to "season finale" a few days ago on Twitter. Plus the way this episode ended, especially that mid credit scene, definitely feels like there will be season 2.

Shout out to Bill Sienkiewicz. One of my favorite artists and memorialized here with the hospital name where Harrow was residing. He and Doug Moench, the writer, pretty much created the Moon Knight we know and love. Thanks for the reaction guys. Fun as always. Peace

When Jake become the avatar it must be the best R rated fight scene, Marc was on the ground and Jake comes out then knocks Harrowe out! He must have absorbed ALL the violence in their life and that is why JAKE was the one to really make the deal with Konshu. And Jake stayed undercover all the time!!! We need an R rated movie.

The actor that talks for Khonshu is a pretty good actor the first time I checked him out was in the classical movie title Amadeus it's about a composer jealous of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and I think he might have won an Oscar playing that role. He was like Prince back in the powdered wig wearing days.

I FUCKIN LOVE YOUS GUYS!!! I think Steven and Jake were created at the same time - Steven to be the happy nerd and Jake to take all the abuse from mom year after year after year. I think all that abuse has pushed Jake to the extreme anger/violence path making him the perfect assassin for Khonshu. I think there was a split second in that scene before they got their ass whooped in the last episode when Steven switched to Jake to take that beating and all the other beatings. I also think the red standing sarcophagus remaining LOCKED was a deliberate choice - Marc/Steven aren't aware of Jake or of what he's capable bc he's so angry/violent. That darkness remains locked away from both of them. I think it could be Jake back in episode 1 who killed those villager men...and during that car chase. AND I think Khonshu is playing WORD GAMES!! Both of them (Marc/Steven) got released while Khonshu maintained an agreement w/their most willing alter bc Jake likes killing and Khonshu needs a killer in the name of justice. Marc/Steven remain relatively unaware. Sneaky vulture indeed.

For some reason I was convinced that Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime's voice actor) was the voice of Khonshu. That alone should tell you how good F. Murray Abraham did if I'm comparing him to someone of Peter's calibre.

The Ammit and Khonsu`s Kaiju Battle was glorious. Khonshu is the God of gaslighting. Switching between Moon Knight and Mr. Knight in the fight scenes was badass. Moon Knight, Mr. Knight, and Layla vs. Arthur Harrow were extraordinary scenes. Layla's superhero suit looked marvelous. Give Oscar Issac's all the Emmy awards. I loved the limo and Khnoshu's tailor suit in easter eggs in the post-credits. This limo comes from the comics, specifically the 2014 Knights of the Moon series by Warren Ellis, Declan Shalvey, and Jordie Bellaire. Well, Khonshu is visiting Mr. Knight's tailor! The image of Khonshu in costume frequently appeared in Jeff Lemire and Greg Smallwood's 2016 series Moon Knight, which provided much of the inspiration for this television series. Overall, I enjoyed the Moon Knight TV series. My favorite part of this episode was Layla rescuing the Egyptian girl and she asked Are you an Egyptian superhero? The Layla and Taweret team-up was also amazing. Jake Lockley was giving me hit-man vibes. The shot of Moon Knight flying into the Moon was dope. Hippo!!

I absolutely loved this show! Every episode was pure candy and a masterclass in acting. I don’t want to hear anyone bashing the ending, it’s the story they told. I saw some complaining they wanted more so how is that a bad thing? A+. If you want to see F Murray in the role of a lifetime, check out “Amadeus”. Oscar winning movie, an all time classic. 😁❤️

Season 2, movie(s), both…we haven’t seen the last of Moon Knight and Co. Besides, once Oscar Isaac wins the Best Actor in a Leading Role-Limited Series Emmy, Globe, Saturn, SAG, etc. awards, Disney/MARVEL will feel obligated to bring him back. Also, F. Murray Abraham won the Academy Award for Best Actor, for his performance as composer Antonio Salieri in Amadeus, in 1984.

Themes of mental health, dissociative identity disorder, trauma/stigma removals in a comic book show? Yep. If anybody had to create it, had to be Marvel Studios. Wasnt sure how they were gonna tackle such a difficult subject, but I wasnt worried, because the message for the importance of checking our mental health, and learning more about disorders so that we normalize and prioritize our own mental health is there. Even better if you can subtly package that message ina clever piece of fiction! Well done, Marvel writers! Well done!

They should maybe do a "Midknight Sons" type show/movie with Black Knight, Blade and Moon Knight while Jake is in charge before they do a second season. That will keep Moon Knight more focused for a group show, will fit well with Jake's more violent personality and allow them to set up the second season with Marc and Steven trying to regain control.

I think there is going to be a season 2. Believe I saw it on the Marvel Phases site. There definitely should be another one to explore the personality of Jake Lockley who has only just been fully revealed, when he was created and how deep his connection with Khounshu actually goes. Hope the next season is at least 8 or 10 episodes long and we get to see more of Layla, as well as, Taweet(probably spelled her name wrong) in it. Well enjoyed the reaction and looking forward to your Dr. Strange 2 review. As always 👍👍✌

I really hope this gets a season 2 or at least see more of Moon Knight in the movies. Apparently Oscar Issac said there's no plans for a season 2 but that could be a whole lie lol.
