Ah Varner. The first vampire and the first vampire lord. The vampire that Dracula drink in all his blood to be the definite vampire lord to world. Interesting that Dracula giving Blade his blood might have been the reason to turn into him

Love how Mckay had two ways to show why Blade is evil: being corrputed by the main villain in his series or Varnea. And he decided to do the one most people wouldn't remember if they weren’t a heavy Blade fan, genius!

I would have liked it if the actual Blade had a villain Arc rather than him being possessed by Varne, but Varne becoming a living darkness that can consume planets and stars, kind of like a vampire Galactus. That was cool.

2 big important things to come out of this event: (1) Blade after this event will be trying get redemption for his unwilling part in Varnae's schemes in an upcoming "Red Band" edition 5-issue miniseries that picks up from Blood Hunt. (2) with Marc's return here, the current Moon knight book will relaunch under the new title Moon knight: FIST of Khonshu!

He's only writing 3 at the moment: Avengers, X-men, and the upcoming Moon knight :FIST of Khonshu after this event is over! His Dr. Strange is ending after August/September

When I saw Marc Specter AKA Moon Knight return I started to hear his theme play in the background when he came out of a portal with an army of his predecessors against the vampire Army I wonder how Tygra is going to take it when she sees her boyfriend return fighting alongside Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Wait didn’t marvel pull this stunt before with daredevil who was also possessed by a demon in shadow hunt which was also a bad story, so why pull the same trick twice but with blade that just feels lazy to me in my opinion.
