I think they’re making a great product and the company is definitely going somewhere in the future but they’re definitely going through the growing pains right now.

Hi Gary, thanks for trying to help us. My two Moon Cools arrived yesterday. I ordered blue and orange but got two oranges. The first assembly was fine, but the second one has the dreaded latch problem. Bad news, the pin that holds the latch won’t budge Capt! Trying the screw hack :).

Just tried to replace my latch although MoonCool is over tighting the set screw so tight that they have strip the head of the screw which led me to drill out the screw purchase a larger one and retap the hole. Not as easy as your video shows!

I cannot get my level and bolt to close. I followed your video but it appears the bolt is too far out and won't "set" into the black handle. Mooncool customer support told me to screw the bolt in a little more and it would work, but the set screw will not move either in or out. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Gary. Thank you for the video. I sent you an email. It's still not working. There's not as much wiggle with this latch. The frustration is real. I had to walk away before the hammer. 🔨 😂
