I'm making a doll collaboration with some of my doll artist friends on the topic PRIDE since June is the official month of pride! I've decided to make HUNGRY, a german drag queen. I'll be honest, none of us had much time to make our PRIDE dolls for this collab, so when you chose that super duper detailed Hungry look I said a small prayer for you lol. "God speed, Elisa" BUT YOU DID IT! Even with the struggles and mistakes!! The level of detail is astounding and she looks JUST like Hungry. I don't know much about drag queens, but I absolutely love how unique and artistic Hungry's looks are. She's a work of art herself. Beautiful doll Elisa-- just WOW! Happy PRIDE!!!

Omg this doll... i cannot believe this. I love literally everything about her! I cant believe you got her tattoos right too! I think i love her face so much the flocking added a lot of realism too im sure she cant keep her head cleanly shaved all the time haha! I love this elisa!

i didn't know this drag queen before this video, the alien feeling is real ^^ all the work on the face reminds me a lot of Björk's outfits for her latest album "Utopia". (maybe one inspired the other?)

I've never seen a queen who blends such elegance and avant-garde style as well as Hungry does. I admit, I'd never heard of her before watching this video, but I want to see more of her now. The dedication you put into this doll shines through, and I'm sure Hungry would be proud.

I don't know much about Drag Queens so I had never seen Hungry until today. Her style is very unique and impressive ! You did a great job at recreating her, no wonder doing such detailed work took you so much time and dedication, but it was worth it.

I have found that gluing clay onto the head then putting paper machete over it makes really durable hair. I am making a Tracer from Overwatch doll and it worked really well and does not take a long time.

Just by first looking at the thumbnail, I couldn't help but be confused by unique appearance (and slightly terrified b/c where does her lips end and her chin begin lol) . But knowing the amount of work that went into her to acchieve the amount of details that you did as well as the intricate design of the original, I really came to love her. I know that artists loves a good challenge but some times I feel as though you like to torture yourself with the amount of work you pour into making each doll.

The detail on this doll is amazing! I aldo love how so different she is from your normal style! Yay for range! Lol quick hint on the epoxy: the reason it didn't stick to the vinyl is kuz the vinyl needs to be scored. Crosshatching shallow cuts on the vinyl works pretty well :) and the smoothness of the transition works well with water and looooooots of sanding ^^

I'm not involved in the drag community so I have to be honest, I didn't know where to look and the whole time I was confused as to determining her face. I definitely can appreciate the efforts of you and hungry in maintaining and keeping true to such a unique style! You did a really good job! The clothes look great! I may not understand but what's not to like about sparkly! As always you've done such a great repaint!

About covering the doll head hair plug holes: Liquitex acrylic modeling paste works well. Apply a layer of it around the head. Then sand it afterwards with an emery board into the shape you want.

I cannot believe the level of detail in this doll. I'm always very impressed when you make things for fabric or in this case vinyl jewellery! I was so confused when I saw the thumbnail of this video but I am absolutely in love with Hungry!

I have never heard of Hungry, and I'm not a big fan of drag queens or really anything like that until now. She's so elegant and beautiful! Imagine what Hextian would say :)

I can't believe how creative you people who are doing these dolls are... I paint and make jewellery and I have all the stuff you need and I can't wait to get my hands on a doll... I know I won't make anything like you but you have to start somewhere...this is incredible!

Two months ago I watched this video and was very impressed. Now, I am just floored! I have watched so many of the OOAK doll videos I lost count. If I had to vote for the best, She and Dollightful are close but, the vinyl and all of the detail work that had to have taken thirty hours to do, Moonlight wins. I hope to start watching them all over again, the bests first to the new artist last so I have a bigger compass for my own work. Yesterday I bought my first doll. Fingers crossed~
