Moonstone Island is an open world life sim with all sorts of features: creature collecting, battles, farming, decorating, and more. After hearing many positive feedback about this game, I thought I would give it a shot and play the first year... and maybe a little after that. Since, you know, it was THAT good.

The beginning feels very inspired by Kikis Delivery Service. A year away from home, first time flying alone. And Ossono? Like Osono from kiki? Kiki's delivery service is my favorite movie of all time, I love that sm

Bro there is so much going on in this game. I'm only 13 minutes into the video and there's monster taming, farming, mining, crafting, romancing, dungeon crawling, store managing, fishing minigames, etc. I've been looking for smth to get obsessed with too this might just jump my list

You should play My Time at Sandrock! Lots of story, things to do (you're a "builder" but there are aspects of fishing, mining, farming, combat, exploration, foraging), romancable characters (with storylines and quests beyond marriage), and has that stardew valley/animal crossing feel !! It's my current obsession with that sit and rot for hours on end playing it because I can't stop.

I’m rewatching this video and I’ve noticed so many details that I didn’t catch before. This game is so beautiful and intricate!!! Pokémon meets Stardew Valley meets Kiki’s Delivery Service… like with a smidge of aspects from Skyrim and Adventure Time 😂❤ The art in this game is so lovely and it looks like so much fun Also lots of Kirby vibes!!!

I was a bit surprised about your thoughts on Magic man, though now that I’ve thought about it, it makes sense. I suppose I was really invested in his story. I felt like his text was intense at times but not unexpected considering what he went through? I do understand that that sort of story isn’t for everyone. I’m really happy that you enjoyed the game nonetheless! I feel like Moonstone island needs more attention and love.
