Great video, I could listen to Charlie Duke and James Lovell for hours I could never get bored with anything they had to say. When Charlie Duke said “retired Brigadier-General” and then you add that he walked in the moon. That is a man that should be put on a pedestal so high he could reach out and touch his landing site. Such an impressive and wonderfully understated human being.

Amazing video. True heroes all of NASA’s astronauts and engineers; listening to them makes me realize how humble the three are; how bold and courageous they all were when putting their lives on the line... about the Speedmaster - the classiest watches of all time.

The Speedmaster has been my watch since I was able to make some living (I was 9 at first moon landing,...); after that, it was nice to see that everywhere I went, once I found somebody else with aSpeedmaster, he was a new friend, nevertheless difference in age, status, job:: it creates a brotherhood with no internal barriers, always catching a smile from owners of much more expensive and overrated watches. You feel confident in any situation.

درود بر شما . من در سن شصت و دوسالگی بدون دوربین و زره بین یک ساعت سیکو و یا اورینت و یا امگا و وستونتواچ را با یک سوزن باز میکنم و تا اخره چرخ دنده ها و انها را با بنزین شستشو میدهم و دوباره سر جایشان نصب میکنم . بسیار ساعت های خوب و محکم و ساده هستند . خدا به سازنده هایشان برکت بدهد هنوز هم چنتایی از انها را دارم که دقیق کار میکنند بدون باطری 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

I've had the pleasure to buy Charlie a beer at SpaceFest X in 2019, and had a great conversation. I saw Jim Lovell (and Borman and Anders) in Washington in 1969, when i was 14, during the presentation of National Geographic's Hubbard Medal.

Who doesn’t want a speed master? Sapphire crystal version is great, but somehow it has to be a closed-back hesalite version that is closest to what Jim, and Charlie here wore on their missions.

Two stories I have read -Apparently Apollo 13's splashdown was the most on target of the missions AND Gene Kranz (Failure is not an option) threatened to stop astronaut's flying the T-38 if they didn't return the NASA PROPERTY Speedmasters. They returned them all.

Armstrong’s is in the air and space museum in DC, though Buzz’s, which was the only one worn on the surface during Apollo 11 is lost, presumed stolen during transport to the museum
