Für den Strecke wird Sand benötigt, der direkt mit der Feldbahn zum benötigten Gleisabschnitt gefahren wird. Im Moor kann und darf kein Schotter zum Einsatz kommen; zudem wurden früher alle Strecken eingesandet. Ein weiteres längeres und ausführlicheres Video, als das erste, das hier schon bereitgestellt wurde.
For our track we need only sand. Here we show the work on our Moorbahn (peat train). This video is more detailed.

The side dump cars reminds me of my Lionel 9330 4 wheel side dump cars. They came in cheap Lionel starter sets in the 70’s. I have over 20 of them. I wish I had 100 of them. I pull them either with my two Lionel 8516 0-4-0 switchers or my cute K-Line Porter. The Porter looks better but the 8516’s pull better.

Ja die Aufnahmen entstanden am 2. März 2013. Ich hatte leider immer keine Zeit das Video so zusammenzustellen. Ich wollte mich an dem Schnitt so richtig schön austoben. Wir haben auch etwas Aufwand beim Filmen mit kleinen Tricks gemacht - ich hoffe das sieht man und es wird honoriert.

Herrlich! Zum stilechten Beladen fehlt euch eigentlich noch ein Seilbagger(Weserhütte Pionier , Dolberg D 200 ...) mit Greifer oder Tieflöffel ;-)

Die Klinik besitzt noch einen Bagger. Nur, wenn man den gebrauchen kann, dürfen wir ihn nicht nutzen, da das Klinikum Bad Bramstedt der Eigentümer ist. Außerdem macht es von Hand mehr Spaß ;-)

inzwischen ist der Betrieb der Moorbäder eingestellt und die Klinik hat den Bagger auch verkauft. Nun sind wir alleine aktiv auf dem Gelände

Muss er nicht :) Er liebt es einfach neben dem Zug und seinem Herrchen zu laufen. Könnte ja auch bei mir, dem Kameramann bleiben. In eine Sandlore würde ich ihn nun auch nicht stecken wollen :) :)
