after the first scraping, you soak then restring and scrape again for the final scrape.....do you soak in plain water or the solution?

Is it easier to take the hair off in the winter? In the video is it spring or beginning of winter? I would like to know so I know when to start when my husband gets me a moose. Also do we just store it in the freezer till its the right time to start? Thank you!
