As someone who used to make stopmotions, i have nothing but respect for this dude. These things take AGES to make. If you’ve never attempted a professional stopmotion film you shouldn’t be giving him shit for not putting these out frequently. With an animation this smooth, i’d say it took him at least a month to make, with constant work.

I just wanted to comment that to everyone who’s asking He will make part 3 but why can’t you guys just wait, I get that it’s been years but Charlie has a life he’s not a content machine.stuff like this takes years to make, I would know cause it takes me hours just to animate short clips,not to mention the writing the editing and the reshoots etc. Believe me I would love to see this story finish but just let him finish his dangling personal projects first so he can truly focus on this. We all wouldn’t want a rushed product. In the mean time go check out his other stuff like the sky below and his other original projects that he put so much time and effort into that never got as much attention.

this was INCREDIBLE. The action choreography and suspense executed by a fan with passion were done far better than 343 industries did with their millions of dollars and an entire design team in halo 5. Mr Mootrid you have a very bright future ahead of you if you continue down this path of creation. this was absolutely amazing you made amazing characters that I actually cared for, (unlike like a certain fire team that does does not need to be named cough cough osiris) with a story that has a true and reasonable conflict that makes the atmosphere tense. this was beyond fantastic you have my support for the future MootridXProductions.

Everyone asking for part 3 lol, I think a lot of peeps don’t realise how many frames need to be taken for even a second of footage! Not to mention the stunning amount of post production needed for all these effects!! Rock on!

The only thing I don’t really like in this is how strong 637 is at times. I’m sure it’s just plot armor, but still, here’s and example. 2:40 637 gets shot *twice* with a Concussion Rifle and just shrugs it off. 30:27 Here Cal gets shot *once* with a similar plasma projectile, and goes down. And he’s a spartan. He doesn’t die or anything of course, but he realistically gets shot back, while 637 is in ODST armor and gets shot twice. I know I’m criticizing this a lot, but don’t get me wrong, I *LOVE* this stop motion. Definitely my favorite Halo one.

Part 3 is going to be more ambitious than both part 1 and 2. Be patient because its makes you seem impatient. Mootoriod is a human and humans take time to do work. Do you see how smooth the stopmotion is? This takes work. Show some respect people!
