Great presentation and craftsmanship! You are right, expensive knives are not necessary. Mora knives are a gift from the Swedes!

Yep, I love Mora knives. I have the Mora Bushcraft Black and it's one of the best knives I own for smaller carving tasks.

yup i agree with you spending alot of money on good gear is not necessary. been using a mora for a long time with excellent success. my hatchet head cost me $4 at a yard sale. my vintage Collins ax head about the same. my shot machete i made myself as well as my collapsible bow saw. my cook kit was either made (wood tools) or purchased on the cheap. however i am glad folks are willing to spend big dollars on tools or i would have a tough time selling my custom knives. thanks for what you do as i enjoy learning new things. i need to takle a bow and arrows soon.

Have you used the Mora Classic 2/0? I picked one up a while back and love it. It's great for backpacking as it is super light weight and performs really well!

Very nice video. I have a puukko from Finland that is almost same dim. as the #2 Knife is now 25 years old. Had to make a new sheath a few years back, but the knife is still doing just fine. Perfect bushcraft knife.

The # 2 blade appears to be a bit wider not thicker. I seem to slightly prefer the #2 but they are both great knives.

My favorite is a Erik Frost or KJ Eriksson laminated blade knife! Both made in Mora Sweden.

Are you wearing vans? Those colors are awesome! If they are not, what are they? If so they are, then what style and model number?

Say Heah, Infact yesterday, I took my Rold/Classic #1 out for the first time, because Wednesday night I thought of it, It only took a few minutes, Yeah, The Rold is D2 and a Flat Grind, I strictly work wood with my knives, The thin edge I got it extra sharp on my Work Sharp and it left a nice Vex on it, We know how good the Classic #1 is with working wood, For instance You, Mors Kochansky, and London, now me. But to end up with this idea, Pleases me to no end I also came up with a idea for one of my wet and snowy weather days, I carry the Arvensis 119 horizontal carry and right below it is my Coye Ridgeback. Simply TiT's Aces.

What do you think of the Mora Classic 2F which has the finger guard on the blade side of the handle? I’m new to carving and like the idea of a little extra protection to stop fingers slipping onto the blade, but I notice you don’t have the finger guard on either of your knives so I wonder if experienced carvers find the finger guard gets in the way too much? I guess it could always be cut off at a later date if found to be more trouble than it’s worth? I intend to carry it as a primary knife around my neck, I mainly camp and hike alone and the idea of needing to ‘stab’ with it for protection purposes against animals in a worst case scenario is preferred, but again only if the guard doesn’t impede the main function of the knife which is carving But I am an adult with intent to be safe so I want to get the right one first time 🤓 thanks for any suggestions

I use the #2 and also got the #2 F for the same stabby reason. I've never cut myself working wood with a Mora classic lacking a finger guard, because is safe enough and grip is very good. But finger guard is useful to get confidence and isn't any trouble for carving.

You have a picture up for all 3 vids of both knives on a table. I hoping to see the two knives next to each other in space moving instead of in a still shot, get nothing of the sort. I doubt you ever even held them up together. Lame sir, SUPER Lame.
