@@davidhoene3317 The separation of church and state only pertains to the GOVERNMENT. It's not the government's job to raise your kids, it is 100% YOUR job. Parents are the ones responsible for teaching their children right from wrong, how to balance compassion and candor, when it's okay to give in and when it's important to stand firm. Parents need to step up and do a better job raising their kids so the rest of society can finally stop paying the price. Religion not required!!

America is a very evil nation and that is because obviously citizens cannot handle a separation between religion and state! I get it you have a double standard, as long as people go along with what you see as right then there is no need to question or debate it. You cannot even handle someone sharing a different point of view online, imagine when it comes to legislation.

I was kind of wondering why republicans blamed democrats for everything and did nothing to address what I thought were nation wide issues

Your question is worded (and "punctuated") in such a way that makes me wonder whether you were just expressing your frustration or disgust with the Republican stance on gun control, the Republican party in general, or if you actually were interested in a good-faith debate. And the way I worded _my_ question made it a statement that should be treated like a question. 😁

They would never have allowed people who are danger to children to own a gun. The 2nd Amendment talks about well regulated militia, not a bunch of crazy yahoos with guns.
