Feeling emotional about you relating to and vocalising what I’m going through right now. I didn’t know the term was moral scrupulosity (can’t pronounce it either lol). Ocd feels soooo isolating so I’m shocked whenever someone else can relate. It’s so interesting how I’ve rationalised what your symptoms from an outside perspective too.. it’s so much easier to understand that these are just all in your head when it’s someone else. Glad and hopeful to hear you’ve gotten through this though, so encouraging good for you it’s not easy at all!❤️

i’ve been stuck in obsessions about what is fine or not fine to draw, like i appreciate modesty and like drawing modest characters but then i get incredibly scared that eventually i’ll slip and forget my morals over time and draw inappropriate characters depicting nudity or something. this theme ties in with pocd, rocd and it frightens me to death because drawing characters illustrations is my life and certain animated shows have literally changed my life (hence why ocd has probably latched onto this kind of drawing/moral scrupolosity theme). fears i’ll draw immoral eventually things without caring in the end because i love drawing character illustration so much.
