Lots of personal issues. Trey and Dave can't work together, Dave is not a fan of Pete;s conversion to Xianity, and Eric Rutan... kinda made a name for himeslef as a producer. (IIRC, Kill by Cannibal Corpse was his forst album... that album has a nasty edge to its sound.) But yeah, this is the lineup that comes to mind when think of MA.

Pete might have a shot if he formally renounces his Christianity. I fucking hate him for that. Weak.

Taco Crisma at the point of this video Erik (who i love btw) was nothing more than a hired gun. The only time he was ever involved in the writing process or anything was during the Domination era and during Gateways. As i mentioned in previous comment this is Trey's band , he own this brand , he had written most of the music and quite a bit of the lyrics in early stuff and he is the only original and constant member and so all of that said Erik is pretty low on the totem pole here when had Dave on vocals and bass and obviously he is the "frontman" and the main "personality " of the band and Pete who being the drummer and being in the background isnt going to get shown much. and as i mentioned Trey and really Trey doesnt care about rockstar stuff anyway and i really dont know if the band had anything to do with this anyway i was under the impression that it was something somebody else put out but i have been wrong a few times .

@@Crashbanksbuysilver Vltimas (Dave's new band) is getting quite a lot of attention. And for good reasons. It's better than anything released by Morbid Angel since Domination.

@@AxLWake Das rite! Trey took about 2 years to come out with the last album and what we got was meh. Vltmas is awesome, almost perfect and its only their first album.

And as usual, David Vincent had nothing to do with writing music for Vltimas. Just like he very rarely did for Morbid Angel. He joined the band 4 years after they even formed, when a lot of the classic material had already been written.

He is not gay, but you can think what you want. It's ok.
