Huge tip for all morde players against aatrox, you have to go ghost ignite, matchup almost becomes a CP with those runes, although it may be worse with the ghost nerf now

honestly, as a morde main that match up isn't the worst to me, as long as you don't die before lvl 6 you should be fine, but I'll say when I play aatrox and is vice versa, nobody respect aatrox's lvl 4&5, and that's why imo aatrox match up is favored, but you can still outmaneuver him if you're good enough.

As a Morde player i think this matchup is heavily skill dependant. Every time i lost to an aatrox they were just better than me. Naayil is much better than me at LoL and yet i still think i would've done better than this morde in this lane, he was really bad.

he kinda just took short trades early whixh is not how he is supposed to play it

Darius is doable though, if you play relatively safe early. Once you get items and such you can beat him.

Morde does not shatter anybody early bro, his early game is absolutely bad. If there's any point in time where you should never die to a Mordekaiser, it's early game.

Because the anti heal procs if enemy basic attacks you a fair amount. Its not as good vs aatrox. Oblivion Orb allows you to take the initiative to apply the anti heal

@@happykat2501 IMO you are not making a fair comparison. Instead of sharing contrast between Orb (800G component) and Thornmail (2700G completed item), you should do it with Orb and Bramble. The main function of these items is to apply anti-heal, which Orb will allow Morde to do WAY better vs Aatrox. Bramble anti-heal conditions are too restrictive. Orb has way more damage output as well. The damage from bramble is negligible because Aatrox is not a heavy autoattacker. It's honestly just not very good imo. The only thing it has going for it is the 30 armor. But if Morde wants armor he can always get something else later.

@highnoon2844 aatrox is a bruiser that does huge dmg in bursts, orb will give you ap but it won't help you survive his dmg, I'd rather go bramble/thornmail over orb 8 times out of 10
