morde is definetly powerful, but the reason that he isnt that heavily picked in high compared to low ranks is because of his noobstomp playstyle. he can be kited pretty easy due to low movement and is skillshot reliant so people who arent bad will dodge and trust me, trying to ult a zed as morde makes me want to do bad things to people I love

yea for sure, i played him until around gold (currently plat 2) but i stopped playing him because i got kited by literally everyone so i started playing other melee top champs

a simple flash ily aswell as slow and skill diff will dos the trick to any zed if you mid sol doesn’t fucking feed 14 kills in 8 minutes

I think building Rylai's on Morde as first item is better, second boots and third Riftmaker. Rylai's as first item is better, because you will prevent jungler to escape from you if you get ganked. And yes Morde is powerful, but he has some counterpick like Tryndamere or Olaf (I am scared of these guys to this day when I lane with Morde against them.)

@veggie2348 i think theres two phases to morde ult. His channel can be cleansed, but if you're in morde ult you can't escape. In ARAM im not able to cleanse morde ult while in it, but QSS definitely works. So it seems like rengar's stacked W acts more like QSS than cleanse

@@Barryislarge true , rengar stacked w can be treated as qss but im not rengo player , I'm morde main :) by the way with morde ult cast animation can be for sure cancelled, i did once cancell morde ult animation by galeforcing away from his range as jhin and was supriced, i didnt expect this kind of interaction and my first though of situation "haha morde must be tilted, i just galeforce right in time cuz i saw he started cast animation and prob it goes on cd"

well for starters they could play a real top laner. and for other options, play safe. grab what farm you can. request a lane switch. grab krugs when possible. Buy a QSS. might not all be amazing options. but you never have to rage quit the game xD
