Millions of Americans across several states are experiencing 911 service outages. Law enforcement officials in Nebraska, Nevada, South Dakota and Texas have been working to fix problems with the emergency contact service. Some have been restored, but the FCC says it is investigating further.

just take out a note pad, and jot down all the stuff that has been happening. The airport that "wasn't hacked" the balloons, border etc. It might go front to back by the end of the year

US Submarines found the exact Russian underwater telephone line and tapped into it. Apparently that similar type of line went near that specific light pole. Redundancy has been a major issue in this country. Example if one food distributor shuts down the entire US suffers. If we had 5 the impact would be less. I guess "Call before you Dig" didn't happen. Probably illegals working on this Critical Infrastructure folks.

For the sceptics, it's not that uncommon to isolate towns with a single gun shot. Outages are generally hushed to avoid encouraging anarchists and panic. Fiber communications are supposed to be redundant, but often the primary and backup are in the same trench. Despite the tech, things are very prone to mistakes at every level, from the trenching contractor to the network engineering. Major communications companies would rather pays fines than actually fix their mistakes.

Just like industrial monopolies - the 911 national system needs to be broken up in to totally independent systems that can and will operate independently of one another. This would defend our country against attack by political and ideological enemies.

Ya, so a light pole effected South Dakota AND Texas? Ya cuz they're so close to each other🤣. Tx also had a cyber attack TODAY that caused a water overflow. It is happening right after FBI confirmed a cyberattack to our infrastructure TODAY!

You know we need to go wireless on electric You guys control the power line. Nicole Tesla had an idea that you would just send the signal out like a phone and you would just have lights and have cable. It will go right through the air . People are so greedy Why are people so greedy nowadays.

Processor error, and a light pole repair, three states effected, we still don't know why, and FCC is investigating and in a few yrs no one will know anything..... so then we are getting a cover up story but we are doing a great job and the public is in no danger and we are doing a great job with emergency svcs and comms.
