This movie presents some more insights about static torque twist, how it can be demonstrated and how the drive train can change the amount of torque twist. Static torque twist can make the chassis tilt to the left or right side. While dynamic torque twist arises only during short phases of accelerations, static torque twist occurs during slow movements, for example when the motor pushes the car against static obstacles or steep slopes. A larger gear ratio leads to a larger torque twist. Demonstrations and computations are based on two 1:10 RC model cars: The MST CFX-W J45C and Traxxas TRX-4 Defender.
