Nissan Rogue owner here. The oil change warning is on a timer - there's no connection to any internal diagnostics - it will show up at a programmed interval. If Enterprise is doing regular maintenance on their fleet you shouldn't have worried. Still, after all the car trouble you've had I can see it being disconcerting.

exactly, I never use those built in timers, I do 5K+ miles on my vehicles with synthetics the time of 3K oil changes is well behind us.

Even with car trouble you still found interesting places and things to see and a good Monopoly story. I have bankrupted people by buying up the properties on the first side (we called them the “slum” properties) and build them up to hotels but we used free parking as the pot. Lots of trash talking took place too, in good fun.

Hey Jacob. I lived in Sunol ( Sun - ole )for may years with Bosco as our Mayor. Funny thing though I am now living in a small socal town of Idyllwild and our Mayor is a dog as well (Mayor Max) a golden retriever. I am one of a few people that have lived in 2 town with dog Mayors...

I grew up in San Jose, and in elementary school when we were studying ancient Egypt, of course we had to go on a field trip to the Rosicrucian. It's a fascinating place; I've been several times since.

I'm the guy that suggested the museum and sorry because I said Great America was closed for the winter but I'm glad you checked and it was open weekends. The museum had a machine where you pay and it would give you a paper with your name in hieroglyphics. Don't know if you missed it or it's gone now. Also did you miss the gift shop? Love your videos thank you so much.

I'm not sure if anyone had answered this or not but the potatoes had most likely some onion but also cabbage in it. A very traditional Irish side dish called colcannon. I was just talking to my husband about it last night and how delicious it is. We had our traditional corned beef and cabbage with potatoes and carrots yesterday.

I know this trip was a really bumpy road so to say, but I have been tuning in to all the episodes just to follow the car drama! I’m glad you are in good health, that’s most important and getting back to your scheduled program. But on the bright side, the car troubles really have me me on the edge of my seat for the next video 😂

I've had this happen with rental cars. They typically say "it's just a warning light that it's due.". They have specific locations to get oil changes done (cheap places). They don't want to "risk" customers getting work done from somewhere as that can cause liability problems. World's largest monopoly board is really cool! Where's the largest Subway sandwich restaurant?

I'm so thrilled you enjoyed your visit to the museum! I practically lived there when I lived in San Jose. I guess I was one of a bunch of us who suggested that you check it out. I used to try to scare my sister when we were in the reproduction of the tomb.... I was a jerk of an older sister.... She's my best friend now ❤. That monopoly game is awesome! That's the perfect place for one of your meet and greets. You could sell monopoly pieces that look like mold-a-ramas... Thanks so much for visiting the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum.... It was great getting to see it again.... Hopefully the rest of your trip will be trouble free.

That was a really interesting Egyptian Museum . I did notice something missing in their displays and that was their splendid jewelry. I never liked Monopoly because my sister used to always cheat LOL That was so cool the Dog Mayor. Sorry you are having such car troubles on this trip . Happy St. Patrick's Day☘☘Supper looked good . Huge parenting win! It was the same with me and my dad and mini-golf. I'll never forget the day I finally beat him at 10 years old. I still love playing, and my kid finally beat ME for the first time last year lol. I can also relate about finding people to play board games with for some reason....hahahaha

OH MAN YOU'RE IN MY NECK OF THE WOODS THIS TIME. Thats so cool, loving seeing the places you popped into... especially the museum and Monopoly board. You used to be able to rent pieces to play an actual game, but I dont think it was popular enough for it to keep going lol But it was probably one of the coolest things that happened in DTWN San Jose. when my mom was a kid in San Jose in the 50s they had a field trip to the Rosicrucian Muesum there was a lot of warehouses and inside were tons of mummies being studied.

Glad you were able to do the Rosicrucian Egyptian museum. I grew up in San Jose, and my trips to that place with my dad are amongst some of my most treasured memories. I was so fascinated by the mummies. At that time the tomb would be roped off and there would only be certain times a guide would take you through. I’m not sure when it became a self-guided display, but when I took my own kids (who are adults now) it was already that way.

Many people who think monopoly takes too long aren't aware of the rule that states if the person who lands on an unclaimed space doesn't want to buy it, it goes up for auction.

Jacob! The woman would stand on the bricks, and squat to deliver the baby. As odd as it seems to us today, that was (and is in some places) a common position for birth, which uses gravity to help the process.

The problem with Monopoly is most people play it wrong. The official rules state that if a player lands on an unowned property and declines to purchase it, the property immediately goes up for auction to the highest bidder. This causes the game to move MUCH faster. It also encourages property trading and deal making.

dang Jacob that reminds me of the PT cruisers we used to have at thrifty rent-a-car people are having problems with those left and right but I noticed it was all the same license plate letters TAW so we started calling it the TAW flaw seems to me like it'll probably just needs to check and see if the Nissan's are recalled for some reason

Rental shops are independent. So they always try to dump vehicles that need work/maintenance onto other shops. Also probably why they couldn't find it because the shop(s) where probably lagging on update the main system where the vehicle is to force the 'receiving shop' to deal with the maintained. Its a bit gross but it is what it is.

Enterprise should, especially for Carpetbaggers, switch over to Toyota. Those cars drive all over the African continent, in the harshest conditions, without ever giving up! i doubt they are available in white though ... Subary now has a good reputation, except for the Impresa WRX that used to be legendarily bad.

When i was a medic in the US ARMY, i was taking a speech class @ night. For my final i did a speech on history of medical equipment. While doing research i discovered that that there was a history of people who ground mummy powder was used as a type of medicine for different ailments.

Just reset the oil change light and continue on your merry way if they want to play hardball. That light is simply a suggestion and there are several ascending stages of that suggestion
