"Travel with Gary and Amika"
Welcome to the Official Travel with Gary and Amika KZfaq Channel, a father daughter combo capturing campervan style travel vlogs in and around the mountains, beaches, campsites and wild camping fully off grid.
Gary is dedicated to his daughters future and enjoys documenting her passion for life, which is apparent through Amikas constant giggling and smiles. He is well travelled having visited some 39 countries, however this quickly became difficult to continue when Amika was born. With his love for travel he wasnt going to let being a single father tie him down. When Amika was just 5 they jumped on a plane and backpacked around Romania and have since visited France and Spain twice exploring the Pyrenees mountain range.
In January 2022 Gary bought on old builders van and converted into a fully off grid tiny home on wheels with the aim of getting out and about as much as possible to see more of the world. KZfaq seemed the perfect way to documented these travels and to take a step into the world of becoming a digital nomad.
Gary and Amika both thank you for being here and hope that through their videos they can bring you a sense of adventure, a lots of laughter and with a clear message that you should never grow up and never take life too seriously!

We rig up a mosquito net from the roof over the bed to beat those pesky mozzies in Germany/Italy. Definitely worth it!

@@TravelwithGaryandAmika Get A Bigger Bin Gary..... I follow an Italian Family.... Their Inverter just blew in the middle of the night...... It scared him so he went out and Bought a very expensive (1300 euros) and bigger one........ Safety first.... Take care Friend..... :-))

Amika would have loved Bristol this summer as we had a Unicorn 🦄 trail (60 in total) spread all over the city. I did all 60 with my 3 young granddaughters and we took a picture at each Unicorn

Some cracking shots on the mini golf course. First time I went away with my friend in her tiny caravan and had to empty the toilet made me nauseous. Nothing worse than seeing your friends waste slopping into a drain 🤢😂. Love your van, looks really cosy. 😊👍😊

Hi Gary hope amika & yourself are OK. I know it's hard times because of the work situation. I'm sure a capable chap like yourself will soon turn that situation round. Just a checking with you to see if your OK, not getting down ,because I know it's all too easy to find yourself in a dark place , been there myself . But now I'm older & wiser & don't believe the financial / business , controlling body's. They never have peoples interests as a priority it's just profit for then. So here is one person checking up on another to see if your OK. I want say fine because we all know what that stands for. You may have not posted on KZfaq but that doesn't mean we have forgotten about you both , stay strong my friend.

Bet it always feels odd with out her though, last time you couldn’t wait to pick her up. Those fuses didn’t seem very good did they - imagine they would have been hot to remove too! Not good when they do that - hopefully new ones will be ok. Hope you’re both doing good and the 🦟 mosquito bites have disappeared (along with the mozzy!) Good idea to keep the hose off the ground there - looks like a big snake 😂 Have you tried the green fluid? We tend to use that as have a treatment plant at home as not on mains incase I need to empty at home. Love the van colour change in the light. Have a lovely weekend, All the best, David & Rachel 👍

@@TravelwithGaryandAmika the green is usually in the same section as the blue in the camping shops - it doesn’t contain the stuff which the blue has in which damages treatment plants - a few CLs and sites / pub disposal points of late seem to be green (or bio) only. I was using the sachets but you don’t seem to be able to get them as always seem to manage to dribble when topping up and preferred them as easier to store but on the liquid now. Yes all good, looking forward to some time off in a couple of weeks seems to have been a long slog.

When I turned it on the passenger window went fully down. So it's definitely put back together. I'm not as stupid as I look 😁
