Thank you for your PSA & your Ted Talk. I needed that reminder. I was brought up by a Pentecostal mother and Halloween was a big NoNo in my household. Fell in love with Hocus Pocus & NBC in 1993 and there was not turning back. 🎃 Halloween symbolizes my freedom and I love it! Thank you for getting us all pumped up for Halloween. Haters gonna hate and know that a lot of us who love what you do appreciate you very much. Halloween Blessings Always! 🎃

I had a cashier ask me why I was getting halloween and kinda make jokes about it. She was nice about it and I understand for the normies they want to wait. I have fun in the hunt. Also, for quite some time now, the truth is if you don't get it when it comes out, you'll miss out. Once upon a time, you'd see something you liked and new you could still get it days before the holiday you needed for because it was being restocked. That's just not how it happens with a good amount of items anymore.

It makes me so happy to see Halloween stuff out as I detest Summer and it gives me hope so I can suffer through the nasty yucky heat! I am sure that same cashier has something they get excited for and want to see earlier than most of us, so just ignore. We all have something we love. ❤

Gigi is another word for grandma, Nana and little pumpkins are the grandkids. I worked retail for a long time, and the majority of the people who did not like Halloween coming out was people with certain religious beliefs. I enjoy watching your Halloween content don’t listen to other people who are here for it.

My daughter who’s 11 and I just went out to all the stores looking for Halloween and “gothic cottage-core” decor for her bedroom and had a blast! We bonded over Harry Potter so we get super excited for Potter Season! 😉

I work retail and I absolutely light up when I see Halloween. I love it and it’s never to early.

I’m sorry those store associates had to do that. They need to be aware of their customers and surroundings and keep it to themselves. Don’t let them get you down!!! I don’t particularly love Halloween, but I love fall. I LOVE watching your videos because of your personality and your commentary 💗

I’ve always wanted to buy Halloween merch, but I was almost always too late and had no idea they were even out as early as Summer. Oh I’ve heard a couple employees say similar, and my big mouth said out loud, “ I love it and I’m SO excited” while holding Halloween decor in my arms and in my cart. 😌

Cris, congrats to you and Jay for becoming Costco members! You will find that you’re going to save a LOT of money shopping there. As long as you have the storage space, buying in bulk is the way to go! About Halloween Haters…you’re absolutely right! Some people are NEVER happy unless they are being demeaning or putting others down. That’s because their lives are so cold, empty, and meaningless, the only “Joy” they can get is making others miserable. Ignore them and stay away from such types. Their Negativity will be their own downfall eventually. Always follow your own Happiness, look for what Floats your Boat, and keep on Halloween Hunting! 🎃👻💀 I love Spooky Season and always look forward to your Spooky content and Halloween Hunting videos. Love the PSA and Ted Talk! I don't always comment, I try to always like everyone's video but I felt very compelled to leave a comment after this video. You are so not wrong, I see nothing wrong with enjoying the Halloween decor coming out early and sometimes if you wait, you miss out on being able to purchase certain items because of the popularity. The other thing I did not realize was that IKEA sold Halloween, that is so cool and they have the cutest products! So thank you, thank you for sharing your finds, thank you for being a fantastic KZfaqr and thank you for being real. I find your content very fun to watch. Hi Cris. Just wanted to let you know I just started watching you this summer. I love you and everything you do for all of us Halloween nuts. I do understand how some people might see it’s too early for Halloween but do I care ? No, I’m use to negative comments too, but they don’t bother me I love what I love. Not everyone has to. Besides Halloween is getting bigger and bigger, stores wouldn’t be putting items on the shelves if they don’t think they can sell them this early. Most places sell out very fast. Halloween is a lot of work for me ,all the trips to storage ,unpacking, putting things together, putting it all out. Buying more stuff, well that’s the fun part. But every year all the compliments I get from the kids and adults before and on Halloween makes it worth it. That’s why I do it , my grandson loves it my daughter loves it and that’s really enough for me. I’m 58 I’ve got back issues, knee issues among other things but I’ll do this as long as I can. I love you and your passion, we can relate. So for every negative comment you hear about Halloween remember the thousands of us that love every second of it even this early!!!

Great job on your PSA lol. I have zero craps to give for those people that judge us Halloween hunters. I am sure some other viewers probably needed to hear that message. Great job!

I love the pink Halloween. I’m a goth Goil but pink it my favorite color. I’m so grateful to my parents growing up, made Halloween so much fun. Mom made our costumes and daddy took us trick or treating. Halloween is special in my heart because of the memories and I love the decor.

I wear halloween clothes all year, and have a pumpkin purse. I've had people comment on my purse negatively and positively. I don't care what anyone thinks because it makes me so happy to be me. I've always felt alone too. I've never had many friends, but with these videos you do on KZfaq, it makes me feel connected. Like, oh hey, there's someone else just like me. Almost every time I go out to look for Halloween/dark decor, I hear the "I can't believe Halloween stuff is out already" always within earshot from me. I simply say " I LOVE IT!!" Just means more for us all. Just going out to look for Halloween makes our spooky hearts happy, and that's what gets me through summer. 💯💀🖤

Ha ha. I too was in Home Goods today and finally finally saw Halloween. I was so so excited and a lady passed me complaining and fussing about it being too early, how ridiculous it was, and I'm standing there with my arms full. I just laughed and said I've been actively looking for weeks so I'm thrilled. Glad we don't all think the same way, and more for me. 😂

I remember years and years ago, I was working as a hostess in a Mexican restaurant in NM, and girl asked me what my favorite holiday was, and I excitedly was like "HALLOWEEN!!"... then she backed away from me and told me I was weird. I was like 20yrs old. At that time, at first, I felt deflated, then I brushed it off and told her she's the weird one 😆 I've been watching your stuff for I think about a couple years now, but took me a bit to subscribe. My husband has joked about my Halloween obsession for almost 31 years but, he totally knows how much it makes me happy 😊🎃 We walked into At Home the other day and some other Halloween freaks were going crazy in the Halloween aisles…every year he laughs and says I’m more convinced that Halloween is climbing up the holiday ladder second to Christmas 🎄🎃

I always felt I didn’t fit in anywhere. Even now at 61 I can feel like that.

I love Halloween. I just feel it's too early and I'm afraid I'll be done with it before it's even here and it's the one part of the year where I'm actually thriving mentally. The weather, the decorations and the overall vibe. The pumpkin patches, haunted houses...etc. I'm code Orange shopping regardless. I'm not missing out!!!!

Hi Cris, you nailed it about Home Goods, Marshall’s and TJ Max. I went to 5 stores the other day and the only thing that I saw was the frankie hand soap. Each store had tons of clearance but nothing Halloween themed. I did find that the stores that have Marshall’s/Home Goods had some Halloween. When I did purchase some things in different stores the cashier would say something about me purchasing halloween themed items in July and my response was if your store had more Halloween decor on the shelves I would buy more! I get why some people might frown upon it but you’re absolutely right, it brings us happiness and joy, and plus it gives us an opportunity to get the items that we want and not get stuck in aisle full of shopping carts. So if it brings us spooky people happiness so be it! Loved your new halloween mugs from Ikea and your howdy ghouls kitchen towel. Super cute. 👻🎃💀🕸️

I live in Florida as well, and even though there was an aisle of Halloween at Marshalls and Home Goods it was slim pickings. I was especially surprised at Home goods. I felt bad for the workers, because it seemed as though much of Summer was still there and not much space to put things in. It just appeared as though even with the red stickers, stuff wasn't going

We're all out here with you! 💜 Edited to add: for my fellow IKEA folks who don't have a store in their local area, some of the Halloween stuff is already on the website, just input Halloween in the search bar on the website and whatever they have instock online will pop up.

Cris, you don't know how excited I get when a new Halloween vlog shows up. My Marshall's and Home Goods have no signs of Halloween yet in my part of the New England states. By the way, I love the Skeleton T-shirt Tampa Jay is wearing. I have to find a similar one for my husband to match with his tattoo.

Costco is the best!! Haha I felt like ultimate adult status after I became a club member. Sam’s club had a special deal last Oct where a year membership was $15 so I’ve been testing out both. Ngl Sam’s club scan & go feature may actually win me over Costco

After seeing this video I checked the website of our one and only IKEA (an hour away). They supposedly had everything in stock. I drove out today, and the bat mat, spider pillow cover, and spider votive all gone. The black plants and mugs are going fast. My store had the Frankenstein mug but I got two of the pumpkins, a ghost, and the spider. I'll be haunting the website. 😂

Howdy Cris! This is my first time commenting- I subscribed to your channel only a couple months ago, and I love your videos. I just wanted to say that I LOVE the towels you got! I really hope I can find those near me. 💜👻I am so upset about that cashier though. I worked in retail for many years, and I think what they said was not only crass/rude, but totally unprofessional. It’s their JOB to sell the stuff, AND be pleasant, and respectful to customers, help them find the things that bring them (the customer) joy, no matter their personal opinions about it…and do all of this in a way that keeps the customers happy, and wanting to come back to spend more money at their store. It’s fine to have opinions, sure that everyone is entitled to them, but obviously working in a store that thrives on selling people seasonal decor, is not the appropriate place. Keep that for sharing with your family, or friends - off the clock. Had I been that persons manager and overheard that, I wouldn’ve talked to them about the inappropriateness of that comment. You are such a joy to all of us who watch your channel, and I know I’m probably not alone in being extremely upset that anyone would be so rude to you, and make you feel bad. You keep on with getting your joy, because you deserve it. 💜💜💜 I am very happy to have found you, and keep meaning to go subscribe to Tampa Jay’s channel too, you two are the cutest. Stores have also been holding off to put out Halloween decor. I was at World Market this weekend and the cashier told me they received the Halloween decor already but it won’t be out until next month, so they are definitely waiting.
