That's not what the bookies favorite means. The bookies favorite has nothing to do with who will win. More people gamble in The UK. You're more likely to bet on a home country team. It's exclusively for betting public not a prediction of who will win. The point of "favorite" is to get people to bet on everyone equally to guarantee they make money.

I would not underestimate Real Madrid again. We have learned lessons in the UCL that RM is the real team to beat. Napoli may surprise everyone. I doubt both City or Bayern could win it.

I feel more confident about our defense now compared to previous seasons. But we still have Ederson back there, the man is a bang average shot stopper, and we won't win the UCL with a bang average shot stopper unless Haaland keeps scoping hattricks (definitely could happen). Love the guy for domestic football and the UCL group stages, but he absolutely terrifies me for UCL knockouts. So I put Madrid and Bayern ahead of City in terms of odds. Napoli looks formidable too but I'm not sure how they'd do in a high pressure situation against Madrid, Bayern and City given their lack of UCL experience

taking a pre season friendly as a reference is interesting. i dont even think one of the city or bayern players will waste their memory on it.😂

Why don't you look at Bayern's last 3 years friendlies records before writing this? LOL. They lost to Cologne, Nurnberg, 2021 Napoli and the list goes on. Not to mention the draw 4-4 with Salzburg just this January lol. That's the bayern in friendlies. 2 wins for total 10 friendlies since 2019 😂

I know that you can never rule out Real Madrid in the UCL but let's see if they are hungry enough to win 2 in a row again. If they make it 2 in a row this time and considering that they won 3 in a row from 2016-18, then they are the goat team.

City always been assisted. Penalty was easily given and their players escaped red cards. See in the next draw, City will not face Real or Bayern, that's for sure.

Serie A coming back to its glory days? It's pretty obvious. In addition to Napoli, Inter, and Milan in the Champions League quarterfinal, they still have Juventus-AS Roma in Europa League and Lazio-Fiorentina in Conference League. Both Italian duos are also one of the odds to win the competition, despite Europa League poses a difficult one due to the fact Manchester United and Arsenal are still in contention. For Champions League, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid might obtain the final two, but for my case, Bayern will win because they didn't concede a single goal against bigger teams AND the Final was held in Istanbul, where local fans might support Bayern Munich rather than Real Madrid due to the big relationship between Germany and Türkıye.
