Fun Vintage Finds | Yard Sale & Flea Market Prices | Shop With Me!
We've been waiting and saving up for this full-day flea market and yard sale excursion! We start with the last section of holiday weekend booths at a Kentucky rural flea market, then move along to a bunch of garage sales, thrift and consignment shops, and antique/vintage shops as we refresh our inventory for the Summer season.
There's lots of antiques, collectibles and vintage at this general flea market, sprinkled amongst everything from baby bunnies to 1920s furniture. This is one of three big flea markets here annually, and we're taking advantage of the fact that antique and vintage sellers from four states
have brought it all to us here at home!
Come with us through this fun shopping fest, you'll see in real time what catches our eye! Bargains abound (we paid 25 cents for the program I'm holding, recently sold online for $14), and there's lots of fun things to see as we pass through the second half of this big flea market.
Then it's off to several yard sales (with bargains along the way), and a couple of consignment, thrift and antique shops that stretch our dollar and our fun! Stick with us as we meander around the quaint town of Greenville, Kentucky and its reseller-priced offerings.

A note about sets of glasses, cups, etc. In Japan there are rarely sets of four pieces because the kanji for the number 4 has the same sound as the kanji for death, so sets usually come in three, five, etc.

watching some old vids of flea market shopping...when you mentioned a postcard with a button on it, it brought back a memory of my young self not having a stamp and taping a nickel and a few pennies to the right hand corner of an envelope and posting it! I wish I could remember what I sent and if the recipient ever received the envelope. I do remember sending some hard candy in a hand made birthday card to my Grandmother in the next town over, how I wish she was still with us to answer so many questions! Thanks for bringing up a long forgotten memory!

armadillos my mother used to chase armadillos when they were kids and they would go in the hole and they would end up getting them by the tail and their tails will come off real easy🤸🤸🤸🤸

It sounded like your dad used an after-shave called "Crocheted Thingie" lol. Fyi, we have armadillos in Missouri as well, which really shocks me. They get hit by cars & I just hate that. Loved the $6.95 donkey S&P shakers. Adorable!!!
