I can read the graph (I'm graduating with a degree in physics and mathematics), but a short description of the graph, the method of what it's doing and how to read it, would end confusion for a lot of people who aren't used to reading graphs all the time. There are more males in the world than females in total. Not sure for only countries with over 10 million people (what the video uses), but currently there are 1017 males per 1000 females. By 2100 that number will be 1003 I think.

In gender equality countries it is natural to have more women than men. Having more malesthan females is a consequence of women being treated as inferior which turns into more women deaths by abortion, worse health conditions and honor crimes. That's why having more males than females is an imbalance.

If there were more females fertility rates would be lower. With more males more males can be maintained which maintains more males and so on. With more females a lot will die with lower fertilities and a demographic crisis would happen more easily as a result
