I am so excited! Crystal, kids will tell us the sky is purple if we say it is blue. I have 2 teenage boys, well 1 is 15 and the other will be 22 at the end of May. The 22 year old is finally coming around and actually comes to us for advice and takes it now, and even called and apologized the first time he got his electric bill. Lol He bought a house last spring. Signed the papers and got the keys the day after he turned 21. (He is a plumber and has been working as such since, about 1-2 months out of high school.) They eventually come around. As for girls, I used to be so sad I never had one, until my sister had my niece. Yeah, girls are a totally different beast all together. I still call and find myself apologizing to my mom constantly. Lol I just got my yarn today from Chandi! I have been a fan of hers for a long time, took me a while to save enough money to buy a set of any of her yarn, now I have 3 sets! 🤫 Don't tell the hubby! 😄😄😄. ❤❤❤

I love listening to her. I'm subscribed and I get her free pattern Fridays (crochet not knit) but I find her tutorials hard to follow. That's why I was looking for someone who I could follow and I came across your channel and I love the way you teach. I still listen to her and I love to look at the things she makes they are so delicate looking. The Yarns are AMAZING.

I love the colors you have selected for your shawl plus the one that you added. It adds a very nice spark of light to the mix. I love to look at her yarns. I wish that i could afford to buy them; but i am on a fixed income and they are unfortunately out of my price range. Years ago, when i worked, alpaca and silk was my fiber of choice. I really miss those days. I get my happiness through watching you! ❤

At the end of the day, it's YOUR shawl so you should use the colors (yarns, textures, fibers, etc) that make YOU smile. It doesn't really matter what others think (unless it's something you are making for them!). I like all the colors - especially after you showed them grouped in the picture so we could see their true colors. At this point, I haven't decided on what yarn I'm going to use for the CAL, but it will be a 3-wt (DK) and most likely solid colors. I have SOME ideas in mind, but I'll make final decisions when you let us know what kind of yardage we are in for, lol. I'm so excited to be doing this with you!! Thank you!

Every Friday, she features a free pattern for a limited time. She always has an alternative choice. If she features a knit pattern, she also has a crochet choice and so forth. I've only been able to have one of her yarns, but it was gorgeous and so soft.

It has been my experience that when they are young, we know everything and when they are teens to early 20s we know nothing until they get married and have kids of their own, then we know things again. Chandi is such a beautiful soul even when she talks she has a calmness and sincerity about her that you feel as if you are the only person she's talking to I love her to bits .Even her emails are so beautifulilly written. Her yarn is amazing and the only 1 hand dyed hank of yarn 1 ever bought was from her. Not that I don't want to but financially its a bit out of my reach.if ever I wished I had more money it's just to be able to buy all the yarn I like from her. Anyways can't wait to see what you're gonna create with that beautiful yarn. Btw I'm very good with matching colours and that mauve colour looks splendid the those blues. Love them together.

I agree that Chandi is such a lovely person. I've been a follower of hers for a few years now and have bought some of her gorgeous yarn. I actually have one of the Luster Worsted kits that I purchased a year ago and haven't used yet. It's the Passiflower colourway and would make a beautiful shawl. If I use it, I'll go up a hook size or 2 to get the drape. That's if the kit has around the same yardage as your shawl. So many ifs, so many possibilities, so much anticipation and so many opportunities for happiness. I can't wait!
