All GEO lenses are now officially approved by the U.S. FDA. BUT feel free to try all the other brands too! Those are just as safe and FDA approved in Asia. It should be noted that Japan and Korea's FDA standards are actually stricter than America's, so seriously the risk is VERY minimal. So I honestly wouldn't even worry about that at all. So long as you follow all the health tips in this video (most of which are the same precautions to take with normal contacts) there should be absolutely no reason your eyes will be damaged by circle lenses.

I actually bought my first pair of circle lenses a couple of months ago off PinkyParadise after watching Joe's videos. I thought "If this white boy can get away with it, than so can I!" And I love them! Thanks for pushing me over that ledge Joe!

I am really super lazy with eye care. I wear contacts most days and don't use eyedrops because then my makeup tends to get everywhere. I want to get circle or coloured contacts but think I need to get better with eye care before I do, because I always get lectured by the optometrist about how dry my eyes are. That refresh pm stuff sounds amazing and perfect for me, I'll have to look into that.

Some sites have categories called "for light eyes." If you go to pinky paradise's site and hover over "circle lenses" a drop down should say "for light eyes." :D hope that helps!

Thank you for this video set. I am considering buy colored lenses for a cosplay. I have been wearing normal prescription contacts for about 10 years just like you. So I know how to properly take care of contacts. I just hear so many horror stories about them. Doing all the research I can.

I've worn contact lenses since 2001 and I have a very recent prescription, including my base curve and everything. I've been considering getting circle lenses to mix things up a bit and found your videos as a result of researching them. From what I've seen, a lot of the horror stories regarding them seem to involve misusing them. That said, I have to admit I have a little fear about picking some up. Do you think someone who's worn contacts as long as I have will have a lot of trouble making the adjustment?

well it comes in solution but once you open the vial it comes in you have to transfer the lenses to the cute little case it comes with and of course put some other solution in the case. if you buy circle lenses and leave them in the vial without opening them it can last for about 3 years and you can buy more solution at any drugstore

I wear my circle lenses around 12 hours a day 5 days a week >.< Is that bad haha I use them for school.

Yeeaahhh...that's pushing it. It's highly advised to wear them no longer than 8 hours in a day. But even then...that's also pushing it. I wear mine once or twice a week for no more than 5-6 hours. Wearing them so often and for very long periods of time can add more risk of infection and damage. Please let your poor eyes breathe. :(

YongRa Ssi I understand ^.^ Thanks for info. Yeah I am starting to wear them only 2-3 times a week for 8 hours a day, I take them off right after class now. So At least I am doing better, thx for concern :)

I always feel bad about myself when I hear how you're supposed to use contacts. I've had the pair I'm wearing now in since December(I'm supposed to change them every two weeks).I also have only taken them out about 3 times since then.Not to mention I've been wearing the wrong size since I started using them because I'm too lazy to ask anyone why it won't let me change the size when I order then.Also I'm pretty sure my eyesight got worse back in November,but I haven't seen my eye doctor yet

Joseph's videos are amazing :) I have a stigma so I can't wear regular contact lenses :( Do you all talk about books on The Stylish like what is new in teen fiction and such? I have a book channel here on KZfaq and I would love to talk about books on here if you are ever looking for someone to do that like new releases and weekly recommendations I know this is a style channel but it would be fun I do love fashion as well, maybe incorporate that with the books. You guys are amazing! :)

Are there certain colour combinations that don't work well with super-light eyes? I have Smeagol Blue eyes that seem to fade lighter and lighter with each passing year T_T. Soon I will have no irises.

In the past I've owned two circle lenses that are prescriptions (-1.00 and -1.25) but before I normally wear my glasses. The only problem is that I'm very headache prone, meaning I get headaches from almost anything, including wearing my glasses for a long period of time. This is the problem when I wear contacts/circle lenses because I can't just take them off like glasses in the middle of class. Usually after 4 hours of wearing them I get a headache. So for my next pair of contacts should I just get them plaino and wear my glasses with them whenever I need to or just get prescriptions?

PinkyParadise is a really good site and they have a loooooootttttt of different choices XD it just takes a while to ship because they are coming from Asia mine came in like 2 weeks hope this helps :)

you can wear normal lenses. just make sure they arent ones with defined inner circles. i have an astigmatism and my lenses tend to slide down a bit but you really cant tell in normal conditions.

But a prescription of contact lenses specifies the brand and type. So if your prescription is not for any particular circle lens, it is not valid.

It always sounds to me like you're saying "Welcome to weekend fishin'" at the beginning of your videos and I have to do a bit of a double take because Joseph Birdsong knows about a lot of things but I highly doubt one of them is fishing
