So when we first met Simon (@nortontuningsolutions), he said that the injectors were at their full potential (99% duty) and that we need some biggers ones, and we can turn up the boost and also make the timing WAY more agressive..
so we came back, and we did just that. Enjoy the video!

Lee Lockwood. Its brilliant to learn that way, I have learned a lot from mentors and training courses. My late father was a mechanic with over 50 years of experience. I picked up a lot from him but I am a sole trading metalworker and I restore vehicle bodies and make panels and repair sections to plans that I produce. I do mechanical work as well. I have picked up a lot from spending time with others and from just working out how things work just from studying them.

In my 200sx I always loved the boost coming in hard. Avcr was great for holding rpm based duty. It took a while to work it out but once I did it was great to make the most of the turbo. Evos run loads psi though no wonder they are thirsty

Very similar to my old Evo ffs I miss my Evo trust me simon .map is reliable 12k hard miles 2 years never had problem simon knows what he's doing

Lee come to a milton keynes meet on a sunday its one of the best around theres multiple locations like sainsburys underground car park, morrisons, network rail car park and a private car park called drifters and you can do whatever you want there i can assure you its one of the best meets to go to

I do miss you working on your drive when you only had little spare time seemed more like the every day guy struggling, but I do realise with the channel growing and the evo you have had to kinda go in a different direction! Wouldn't hurt to maybe see some simple things being done on drive again though even little stuff. Liked the style made you stand out!

You do realise you can get 450bhp out of a stock engine if mapped properly as I did on my Evo 6 before I rebuilt it to run 600bhp

Map 1 flashing once, map 2 flashing once no spray, map 2 flashing off once twice spray map. Map2 no flash is boost no map flash. Just leave it on the fastest map. Job done

Careful with that motor brother, run a good oil (castrol power 1 racing), laser iridium ngk plugs and a BMC filter instead of the mushroom. Just some suggestions for future reference. Keep up the sick content! *Oh yeah when you do the turbo swap.

i ususlly use oil from rossport tbh, the Motul stuff! i asked around and everyone said its good oil, and i just love the way the filter sounds with the foam!

@@itsleelockwood Motul is not bad at all but Castrol is the stuff mate, even the edge range is great. Yeah they do sound great, but they rob you of a couple of horses and they are not as serviceable as the BMC. The BMC will sound just as good if not better.
