By default, servers have a global fireworks cap of 25. Those youtubers crashing servers with fireworks either own the server or are friends with the server owners, and the fireworks cap was intentionally modified.

Facts. I hope they make it so a u can have a t2 for storage reasons and still have t3 recipes somehow how. Such as placing a t3 and then removing it or something. Either way it's nice but that extra small box of storage in t2 is goated af

Not a fan of the TC upgrade. Storing those things in the TC always helps on wipe day until I can expand the base a bit

I particularly dislike not being able to put in sulfur or sulfur ore anymore. I would always automate my tc to my electric furnaces and loop it back to the tc and throw all of my ores in the tc.

For test grenades skins, start type in console "unlock..." And set command to 1. This command unlock all skins if you have owner privileges on the server

Im pretty sure all of the zones he mentioned were increased. It would be insane for them to decrease the mining outpost radius you can already build right next to it

The fishing was already percectly balanced, now it just seems like they nerfed catching and using 90% of the fish, while making it oddly easy to catch sharks. I'm not sure what they were thinking with this one. Did they randomly just change the balance to keep things fresh? Did they even hear from people fishing? Like honestly I get that you could fish forever, but like, thats the balance. Having to fish. Which is boring to most, but was relaxing to me :^(

feel like fishing could of used a whole massive rework (like adding more rarer fish like an octopus in deep ocean and rare fish at some places like underwater and the rigs and different loot from the rarer fish) but this new rework just seems like something else to push solos under more.

You did a great job explaining everything. These updates, although don't have a lot of new content, but they do improve the gameplay hugely! Rust has been pumping updates since over ten years & I remember Helk & Gary saying it doesn't make much sense to change game mechanics until there has been considerable content in the game. There has been many items with little to no value for many years, but it's good to see the devs slowly connecting dots.

imma use seismic sensor to my own base design where the bunker closes itselfs and loot inside is on twig foundation that blows itself when seismic sensor gives power to igniter which then blows up beancan or satchel thats blows up closed off loot or unlootable tc

the workbenches and the planter seed auto-fill are goated! Always love when plugins make it into vanilla gameplay... much more of a smooth experience and fewer plugins needed!

Not being able to turn off the electric furnace manually is a bit annoying since I used to run almost the bare minimum power required for 3 of them and if I wired it all during the day without giving the battery time to charge, they just wouldn't function during the night, so it isnt a major problem (just disconnect the wire to the splitter) it's kinda weird that they'd get rid of that function in a qol change

They need to fix the sleeping bodies sticking out walls making it easy to loot a person in their base. That really pisses me off. So if you put 4 baits in your bait slot while fishing it will use them all at once? I hope not cause you'll have to load one bait at a time taking more time. And the scrap attack heli is a raiding machine, I hate that people fly around blowing roof and wind turbans off just cause they can their as bad as roof campers.

QoL changes mixed in with nerfs to build radius, fishing for scrap, and more nerfs to recycling. Sooner or later they're just going to make it mandatory to play in a group of 40.

They made 90% of fishing useless since you can just use 3 grubs to catch a shark so why would you even catch anything else? They completely ruined the balance of having to progress through each tier of fish..

I feel like the build radius on the gas stations and markets are leaning towards smaller groups as large groups can no longer put a tower right outside the stations camping anyone that goes by anymore. I hated that but yea idek what’s going on with the fishing

Omg so sick of cry babies like yourself moaning about every change, always whining that it impacts solos negatively. Of course large groups are going to have an advantage, it's basic math/logic. The fact the devs extended the build block on low tier monuments actually helps solos/low number teams so I don't know why you're crying. You have plenty of options, play on a custom server that has a team cap, play on a pve server, get good, or quit playing Rust. Just quit crying.

the tc is for upkeep of your base, not for storage of your items. they buffed the storage for this reason

The brush sizes simply would make it easier and quicker to accomplish what you would want to, would definitely help with blending. I’m not an “artist” in game myself I personally make neon sign designs instead but monstera was the first person to come to mind when I saw the changes his art in game is bonkers.

Sesmic sensor, yaaaay. Another tool to use to wake yourself in the middle of the nights cus some assholes are raiding you. Another tool to fk up our sleep schedule instead of making night time offline raids impossible. Great job facepunch!
