I feel why the reason this theme looks sorta Nostalgic in a way to most people is probably how, like you mentioned in the video, there is less of a central building per se (Of course there are a few exceptions, like circe du spirit was sorta a central building) but rather there's separate risers and displays sorta collected to create more of an area rather than a building, and the way the displays look, it looks like this theme will be very claustrophobic in a way to traverse, which also felt like an aspect that has been missing from newer themes (outside of walkthroughs). I'm starting to like the way this theme looks purely from the layout and how it feels more like an area than just a spot, if that makes sense. TLDR: so basically, i feel this theme returns back to a design choice that i think a lot of older themes had, where they were claustrophobic "areas" opposed to solo buildings, And i really like that and hope we get more themes designed like that in the future.

Yeah, you’re definitely on to something. Old themes like the 2011 graveyard or 2014 ruins definitely had a scattered layout, which as you say, definitely helped with the immersion. I’m quite excited, this is a great direction for spirit honestly

The entire appeal of Ghostface using a shotgun in Scream 6 was how different it was, same as him having the aged masks. Outside of that, Ghostface killers only use guns when unmasked, which doesn't really count. Scream Ghostface's weapon is a Buck 120 knife, a machete definitely weird for him to wield. That being said, despite being branded Scream, the animatronic is still the Fun World design, not the movie, in which case costume Ghostface has always been seen with a machete on occasion.
