In India, all government employees joining on or after 01 apr 2004 Join the NPS and do not have assured pension. However, uniformed defense personnel have inflation adjusted assured pension.

Except Congress is trying to continuously sabotage this reform done by the NDA government. Congress ruled states as a result are going bankrupt.
