This is beautiful to watch. I'm African American and I've taken at least 5 trips to Ghana since 1990's. When I first started, I made 35 mm camera slides and came back to America showing everyone that Ghana as well as many parts of Africa are not what you think. I'm happy to see so many African Americans taking the journey. Thank you Jay!

Don't forget your ancestors walk the same path to this river, today the soul of your ancestors will be happy to rest because you make this journey, this journey is a calling weldone all of you, welcome home. we have been waiting for you for over four hundred years.

My dream is that this trip will someday be free so that the ordinary street black boy in America can pay such a historic and life changing visit not only to Ghana but to the rest of the African continent. African Americans represent a strength and a force that was stolen from Africa and we need it back at all cost it's non negotiable now is the time enough is enough.
