This is beautiful to watch. I'm African American and I've taken at least 5 trips to Ghana since 1990's. When I first started, I made 35 mm camera slides and came back to America showing everyone that Ghana as well as many parts of Africa are not what you think. I'm happy to see so many African Americans taking the journey. Thank you Jay!

My dream is that this trip will someday be free so that the ordinary street black boy in America can pay such a historic and life changing visit not only to Ghana but to the rest of the African continent. African Americans represent a strength and a force that was stolen from Africa and we need it back at all cost it's non negotiable now is the time enough is enough.

Thank you for sharing and giving guidance to all Black African People so that all Black African American Men and Women and Children and young adults can have the knowledge of our Motherland. They we should be inspired to Go to our original place of origin. Our Ancestors are and were Kings and Queens when they were stolen and made into Slaves. Africa will continue to have her arms open to us because Africa misses us and she wants us back. With Love ❤️

Jay have you ever gone to Shimoni in south coast of Mombasa Kenya? You did visit Mombasa, at one time. There's is a slave cave there too. And evidence of the chains still mounted on the ground. I did visit that place, and it has an opening facing the sea front, where the captives would be made to sit while waiting to be transported using the dhows. Believe it Jay,it. It was a painful experience The name Shimoni is a Swahili word meaning a hole.
