I am coming to this party--and your offerings--late, so perhaps in the 77 previous comments, my point has been made. If not, allow me to say two things: 1) I am not offended by your reference to 'Christmas' things, and 2) there have been no preinstalled "cigarette lighters" in any of our cars for decades. Those receptacles are now called 12VDC outlets and are used for all those round plugs you displayed. These outlets are also found in many other places, none of which light cancer sticks. Keep plugging. I am watching your videos because I am just now learning the difference between "ham" things and "GMRS" things and trying to figure out which might be right for my retirement years sitting in my comfy easy chair...

Them are great accessories . I got the UV-5R and X and many others . That case is super. fits any HT's I keep most of my stuff in a couple of cases and grab and go for trips. them dummy battery's work with most PowerStation . as long has 12V port. can even charge them also. can even use 12V solar panel or even a BigBlue USB solar one. I put all in my backpack . and still have room for water and food.first aid kit. ETC.

Need an accessory that eliminates the need for the cradle. I strongly dislike the charging cradles.

I agree. they are a little jinky and don't really lock in the radio. I have a hard time imagining using one with the 12V adapter bouncing around in the truck.

Just so you know, you can load up your Festivus pole with radio frequency energy and really increase the fars over what a stock antenna can do. I'm not responsible for blowing the finals in your rig while testing this.

I need it like I need another a h, but curiosity was eatin' me alive. Ordered the 935 last night (early Thursday morning). Today was a holiday, fer cryin' out loud. BTWR got it out today and it should be here tomorrow. I hope we both enjoy our respective new radios.

My 2007 luxury sports sedan has an illuminated ash tray with cigarette lighter. I use it to smoke on the go, just not cigarettes. When I'm not smoking, the ash tray perfect holds my phone. I actually prefer not to plug anything else into that cig lighter socket though; there's another one for powered accessories in the armrest pocket.
