Here's more footage I found of my tics in class back last year.
(for reference I am not allowed to film anymore so this is all old footage)
I have Tourettes Syndrome and this is what it can be like being in class with someone who has Tourettes. It can be very distracting but please remember I can't control it and it frustrates me a lot more than anyone else, I can assure you!
My classmates are used to it so I don't stop anyone from working, and I don't film in any classes that aren't either substitutes or at break/lunch times so don't worry :)

My name is Zara Beth (zeezee25 on tiktok) and I post videos about tics, tic disorders and what its like to be a teen living with Tourette's syndrome. I show what its like having tics and Tourettes in class and in school, and I also bake, do other challenges and answer all your questions.

Dear Zara, I want to share something with you and the younger viewers watching this. I have had Tourette's since about 5 or 6 years old, (and OCD). Going to UK primary and secondary school back in the 1970's with these conditions was not a happy place. A lot of children who are now middle-aged or older took physical and emotional beatings from other students, teachers, and their own mothers and fathers when they got home. I'm glad this situation has improved a lot, nowadays students with disabilities can enjoy their school experiences, feel safe, and be treated with more kindness.

As a kid in a UK high-school I can confirm in my school we have a room where I often see a girl in our class with tourette's (becuz I have anxiety I go there for break and lunch) she is very nice but often has to tell teachers she has tourette's I do think that subs or normal teachers should be informed if a kid has tourette but it has got better and I'm so sorry u had to get beaten for something u can't control

Hey Zara! Would you make a video addressing simple, every day things that are difficult or impossible for you to do? For example, I loved your video where you baked a cake! But I never imagined how difficult it would be for you to do so. Also, what are your concerns for your future? Will you ever be able to drive a vehicle? What about job/family goals? Etc. Thank you! I have a tic where I punch/ slam my fist on a table/wall/any nearby hard surface and another one where I scrunch my face up. You’re really great at helping find my place in the world

Hey im so glad I found ur channel recently I developed tics due to my anxiety and it makes it so awkward in class due to having shouting tics and cussing ones. Love your videos ❤️ sometimes though I find I pick up other people's tics really easily 😭my friend from London gave me this tic that sounds like a Guinea pig and for some reason I copied your andys coming tic 😭

Just as like a practical matter, have you considered putting a rubber band around your pen/pencil with a 10cm chord so you dont have to chase your pen/worry about hittng yourself/others etc? Goodluck and keep being unapologetically YOU!

This may seem silly, but what if you put a small chain or piece of string on the pen and tied it to your wrist? So if you try to throw it, it only has as far as the string allows.

I have a question; im not meaning for it to come across as a rude question if it is., do your tics happen during the night or since your body is resting do they not happen? (if you know). Also, do you sometimes struggle to fall asleep because of the tics?

getting to sleep can definitely be hard, but once you're fully unconscious you can't really tic so I don't think I do in my sleep no

I've had this question for a while, are you able to force your audible tics, the ones where you say stuff and are not loud like "roar" for example, to be whispered? If for example you're in a really quiet room.

if you only get them when youre stressed, you could possibly have an anxiety induced tic disorder. i have that too and i hardly tic unless im nervous or anxious

i have a tic disorder and you cant really train yourself to have certain tics, they just show up out of nowhere really. having tics is almost like if you had to say every thought you had involuntarily

Have you got any advice on not suppressing tics? Not everyone in my year knows about my tics and i have social anxiety so its just become habit to supress them in class even though i dont want to. I also have a english exam for my gcse tommorow and the teachers wont give me another room because they said they dont think it will be a problem since i supress them in class so they never really haer them. Just went a bit off on one then sorry paha xx

With Tourette’s do you copy things people say or do?

I'm not her so I'm not sure if she's the same way but I have tourettes so I'll answer as best as I can. Copying is a type of tourettes called echolalia, that's where you basically here someone say something and you will say it back if that makes sense. Ex: I was in class and my teacher said I sentence with the word "random" in it and I hyper fixated on that word and kept repeating it for a few minutes. And I'm not sure if this is part of echolalia but sometimes when I see someone hit themselves ill do the same thing. Hopefully this helped! Sorry that it took 2 months to get a response! And sorry if I made any spelling errors or my grammar is messed up, I have some reading/writing issues

Well when I get my tics it’s not really a thing that I can stop it just happens so unless the have some sort of sycayatic powers not really but I only answer for myself and not for others
