Theyre literally "roommates" (guidebook calls them "business partners", which I beg to disagree its just that. Harriet is not my favorite character, but she did do something similar for me i started my Animal Crossing: New Leaf save file as but a wee young egg, until I found out Harriet can make your hair into the girl's ones and you could wear the girl clothes I honestly don't know why my egg didn't crack until like 6 years later @~@

I liked Resetti because I only started playing in New Horizons and thought he was cool because he didn't show up anywhere in the game unless you invite him. I thought of him like an urban legend.

true, his role went from absolutely yelling at you for 5 minutes due to daring to reset the day, to getting a slightly calmer version of his rant as the first time in New Leaf and eventually just turning up in The Roost and his own mancave if you get that public work project.. and by New Horizons he's just calmed down completely to an urban legend status, it's good he got his break

He’s in charge of the rescue helicopter the player calls when they’re stuck. I forget which KZfaqr did a video of it, but if you try calling for rescuer while Resetti is having a coffee there will be no response.

i like resetti because as a kid when i played animal crossing i couldn’t read so i had no idea how to save so i’d always get constant visits from him. I had no idea what he was saying i just knew he was angry and yapping. because of that fact later on when I could read I started to enjoy the character because of surprisingly how much character there is for him. his dynamic with his brother is adorable and i really like the small things he drops about himself when he’s yelling lol. he’s kind of like kapp’n but instead of singing it’s screaming. I even got his amiibo card from the first ever card pack i got which made me strangely happy. also yeah i kinda have a degrading fetish but that’s completely unrelated.
