for the 2:35 time stamp- elevating your legs like the shoes let you do actually lets your bowels flow smoother. Despite the lack of convention, that is a legitimate invention!

The last one with the robotic thumb/fingers could be very useful, I knew a few people in the military that lost thumb and or fingers, they had some prosthetics for looks, but having one that can effectively act as a thumb is huge
