This isn't the beginning of the show, though: it starts outside the Thames TV studios, with M&W being thrown out of the back of a lorry with BBC emblazoned on the side.

Such a wonderful charming actress belong to her fan club and sometimes they go to London to see her and she is awesome to the fans.

the very moment morecambe and wise started to go down hill this was their first show for thames following the pairs defection from the BBC earlier that year

Couldn't agree more, as a family we stopped watching them after a few shows, as I recall a lot of the Thames material was rehashed BBC sketches and the series were cut to 30 mins including ad breaks.

Totally agree. I actually found it a bit cringe worthy - the spark just wasnt there and it all felt forced.
