Moreh Violence | Hejang Misao Calls Upon Both Communities to Sort Out Differences & Cooperate

Discussing about the return of violence to Manipur’s Moreh town and on the ways that it can curbed, Social Activist Hejang Misao appealed to the Kuki and Meiti communities to sort out differences and live in harmony with each other. Misao said that some people with vested interests were trying to disturb years of peaceful co-existence of the two communities, and they should not be allowed to do so.

There is no kuki police personel deployed in meitei areas, the meira paibis even checked adhar cards among the central arm forces in imphal valley, than why meitei police personel in kuki areas? The kuki volunteers are not against the deployment of state forces but against the Meitei personnel who are not even a Police but in police uniform.

Don't talk here & there Guys, just come to the Ground & taste the impact. This isn't about Meitei Vs Meitei, this is totally separation between the two Community we called it Ethnic Violence. Why can't you understand what Hejang Misao is conveying here. Hejang Misao got the Point. If this is a game, let the Central decided the Concept of what Misao is interpretating here. And will see what happens if not unlike the remaining districts of the state will remain worser than before. When Manipur got statehood in 1972. Valley people were not sufficient/less population to meet the 60seats of mla which is the minimum seats(60) provided by the Indian Constitution. So in order to meet the demand, hills people also were joined and forms the state. Thats all, it means that manipur is a combination of valley and hills not only velley satisfied the state..

You also know this n for information for mainland indians, there are 2 seats for MP in manipur. one for valley so called inner manipur(nagas, meiteis, kukis, meitei pangal, indians other than manipuri; whoever live in imphal ) & one for hill, outer manipur. There are 28 Constitutions in outer manipur, of these 8 Constitutions from imphal valley ie inner manipur are included. People from these eight constitutions the voters are mainly meiteis n few Muslims but these meiteis are not allowed to fight for election but simply allowed to cast their votes. These meiteis are sacrificing or looted their fundamental rights of being a candidate in the election, simply to meet the minimum requirements of electoral roll in MP election. What else you expect from meiteis other than this...

Kukis do not belong to Manipur. Only Meiteis and Nagas are indigenous people of Manipur. MERA Hou Chongba: A cultural festival celebrated by the indigenous ethnic groups, including the Meitei people and Naga tribes of Manipur (Tangkhul, Kabui, Anal, Aimol, Chiru, Chothe, Kharam, Koireng etc). It normally falls in the month of October/November.

So much discussions are going on till date due to which without solving problems in Manipur eight months had been passed but actual actions are not initiated so far to solve out the problems. It is well known that Manipur was a peaceful place and who had initially created inhuman crimes. Kindly ask this misao to put some light on how two kuki arrested with arms while frisking by security forces and handed over to the churchandpur police station where set free by the kuki women folks. How kuki's police personal were with the kuki militants, attacking Meitei village, got killed in retaliation by the security forces.
