This video reminded me of an old episode of Mythbusters where they roughly did the same thing but on an island in Hawaii (I think), and with a small mountain of duct tape.

This totally reminded me of that epic episode of Mythbusters where Adam and Jamie tried to figure out if you could survive on a deserted island with nothing but a pallet of duct tape.

the best way to get off an island wouldn't actually be to make a raft, instead you should make a fire to signal a boat. I advise that you should do some research about the subject, it's actually quite interesting! keep up the good work, your content is epic :)

You'd be surprised what you are capable of if you ended up in a real survival situation. These guys were not in a real survival situation and this channel isn't about that--it's about laughing daily. This was something stupid they did for channel views, capitalizing on people who might actually be searching YT for survival tips/skills.

Suggest shelter first Make hunting weapons and traps A fire set up since it might get cold Find a way to get drinkable water Find a way to get food Make a plan to make a raft Easier said than done but i seen enough survival videos. Certain plants can heal injuries. Al vera i think is what its called helps heal wounds.

For the fresh water, u could have gotten water from the sea, put a shirt over the water bottle and pour the water over the shirt into the bottle underneath- the shirt is thin fibre which is good to filter with. Soon enough you would have fresh water by repeating the process over again a few times
