I fish a lot with jigs here in Finland. Yesterday got my first rainbow trout with microjig 🙂 before its mostly been pikeperch, perch, pike. I really the jig thing especially in flowing water. 1 - 3 gram head with small hook. Let it go to the bottom, couple spins and repeat. Bouncing there with the flow 😃 good colors: neo green/yellow, Black, orange, white, pink. Nice channel you have! Watching your skills with awe. Beautiful baitsmanship 💪👍🙂

You have to let the fish run with the bait for a few seconds then set the hook. But when you set the hook it’s not a jerk like usual you just want to kind of sweep into it. 😀 awesome vid

Correct on the sunfish. Rock bass (aka red eyes) have a red eye. Love the videos.

as a kid we called them rock bass but they are green sun fish. common names for fish are confusing. in some places they call striped bass rockfish. and so many species get called bull head. but green sunfish are really cool fish.

I did this challenge on accident. I caught a baby chub in my minnow net n caught a big ol Channel Cat. Usually i get Walleye and Smallmouth using those in my neck of the woods.

i have a creek that runs through my father's ranch in the foot hills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, in the stream we had large bluegill and small catfish. so i would catch grasshoppers bait my hook and catch bluegill all day until i hit a tree branch hooked a leaf lost the bait and caught a fish on the leaf, ever since then i now only use leaves on my hook to catch these perch type fish!
