I never heard that version of the writing. He and Andrew were the duo Wham. They constantly wrote music together. This song was originally on the 2nd Wham album.

I guess George was clean of drugs for 4 yrs. Weed was his choice of drugs toward the later part of his life. I'm not condoning drugs of any kind. But sometimes I wonder, maybe It was able to keep him feeling sain & kept him on Kiel. You, know, after using for so long the body could rebel. At least that's what he said in an interview, & spoke of It honestly. Which, we know how honest George was. The word was that It was his heart that took his life. What do I know! As a rule, George sang about his experiences in life. This cares through 30+ years of magnificence. George was & still is in a league by himself. No one could top George's music in any way. George Wrote sang, arranged, & directed everything, including his videos. George's style is POP, R&B, JAZZ, SOUL & even a little swing. By the way, there has been anyone to sing his songs without failing miserably. Big artist's never even tried. George won countless awards. After the Faith album, He pretty much left performing in the US because the kind of circus that came with fame, as he said, was more than he could handle at the time. It wasn't until 17 yrs. after that he 1st. performed again in the US. Please, don't read & believe what many tabloids, etc. say about him. Listen to the words from the horse's mouth, sort of speck! George was a man of integrity, honesty to a fault, the media love's what makes them money & you can't listen to most of It! They did some really did some dirty dealings to & about George. After he stopped in the US he went on to 68 countries by the time of the 25 LIVE concert tour around the world.. There may be more since then. There are interviews, recording sessions, & of course many, many videos of George. Live performances & the list goes on! George started in WHAM, He and Andrew Ridgely wrote Careless Whisper a the age of 17, along with Culb Tropicana, & one more that for reason It's just not coming to me right now. After about 4 yrs. w/ WHAM, George went on to his solo career, and he was off! I hope you choose to go on the journey with George Michael, You'll fall in love with this man. And then, you'll find out about the man he was, UNBELIEVABLE! Anyhow more than enough said, My suggestion next would be at the Apollo Theater w/ Stevie Wonder, LOVES IN NEED OF LOVE TODAY. George has sung this many times in his career, but in my opinion, this is the best!
