I don't know if you are aware of the young talent Angelina Jordan, who has a huge fan base since appearing on America's Got talent last year at age 13 with her interpretation of Bohemian Rhapsody. She is a child prodigy singing since winning Norway's Got Talent at age 8, mostly Billie Holiday, Ella,Etta, Nora, Amy Winehouse influences. I would love to hear your professional take. Haley gets flat at the low end of her register... but she's still one of my favorite singers. edit: before I get too many haters, she should have won American Idol -- no question in my mind there.

I have read somewhere that they're doing this piece in a traditional jazz style of a specific city/era.. and that that is reflected in the colours of her dress... Pittsburgh maybe? (I'm not american)

Creep and Oops, I Did it Again definitely should be reacted to. As both of those are spectacular. Of course, everything she did with PMJ was excellent, but those two with Seven Nation Army are definitely a cut above. As Haley is by far the best vocalist to have ever preformed with PMJ. Not to mention that Creep has by far the most views on PMJ's KZfaq Channel and her Oops, I Did it Again is not that far behind.

I enjoyed your reaction! I was curious about something she does in this song. Maybe it's because I'm not really familiar with New Orleans music, but I noticed she does something with her mouth that seems like a technique but I don't know why she does it or if it's connected to that style. Maybe she's emulating someone specific? But so on the words "seven nation couldn't hold me BACK" and "cigarette" early on, I notice she pulls her lips way back like she's almost smiling with teeth. And it gives a really really specific sound that is so cool, but I've never seen that before. Have you seen that before, and is that specific vocal technique? Or is she maybe just trying to mimic someone else's iconic style? Thanks! (Note: I realize that might be what you were talking about with the resonator and moving the sound around, but I wasn't sure.)

Who is she reminding me of? In that section, this might sound a little crazy but she reminds me of Joe Cocker when he would kind of get spazzed out.
