15:15 Old man tip. Before you fry your onions on the barbie, wrap them loosely in foil with your herbs and spices of choice, and a little butter. Sit them on the barbie for a bit until they get soft. Now, you can use some 'as is', and you can fry off some on the barbie as well. Trust me, you'll love the results.

I met a lad in the late 70s who basically lived on Moreton. He was a Thalidomide kid and had the typical deformed arms that a Thalidomide kid gets. He would boogie board down the dunes, go nuts on quads, and surf boogie boards on waves I wouldn't have even considered safe. he was a bloody legend!

35:00 I used to live on Walker bay beach up near Cooktown. The run onto the mainly sand track from the beach was insane. I had a 60 series series landcruiser with big sand tyres and even with that old thing it was touch and go. Saw a lot of folk with over-inflated tyres buried to the body when I lived there.

I don't know about everyone else but I am put off by the expense of going to Moreton. Very expensive few days when you add up the barge fee, plus passengers, beach permit.

Not sure about the Land Rover Defender but the big fella is driving around in fully decked out for weeks or months away to remote parts of the country Mitsubishi Canter 4wd these days , and what a great set up it is for some serious touring of this vast land of ours.

It must me coincidence. One day all utubers videos are heading to the Cape York, next their in the Vic/NSW snow and now there at Moreton. Does utube dictate the destination or just a coincidence?

4wd action owns the right to this video. To my understanding, 4wd action and 4wd 24/7 is not owned by the same people.

4wd Supacentre is owned by the group that published 4wd Action. Hence the push for all their products, especially when they consumed Tigerz11 etc. I've never really worked out if 4wd/247 is still related however this was all before then anyhow 👍
