Another nice performance by Triston. He’s a storyteller, pure and country authentic. He’s growing like a weed utilizing his vocals and his stage presence. Country music has a spot in it for him. His twang and tone is authentic country, all the way!

Finally performed by Triston Harper an original song that he wrote called "Sand In My Boots" and it was featured on the program when Morgan Wallen's cover tune was a good one when he steals his latest song for the country album and on the Billboard #1 on each country music countdown. DM said I feel like he sort of the mumbled through the first verse, but once he stood up off the stool and began working the stage the performance picked up. He looks a little bit stressed out tonight. Triston says he thinks Luke picked that song but it was Lionel who whas now scored another point in the Judge's Contest. This past week, he calls him a "world class storyteller just like some children's favorites and Katy says "i believe in you" and Luke says he did a "great job" This week he was part of Adele Week and that player risks of going home....and some comment to note about..her....most of us wrote in that tonight not only hits closer to home but in our home....

This is the one. If he doesn’t win and they push that Emmy girl through…..this one will be famous and the Emmy girl will still be riding granny’s coattails. I feel they won’t be honest with her because of who she is and the world is voting for her because of who she is and how recently granny passed. Makes for good tv I guess.

Hardy is the one who wrote this song, you have to live up to the way he sold it. He was so convincing in his performance that you believed it and I just don’t think he has the skill to do that. He’s just too young for this type of song.

Oh what happened to Triston the past few performances? He's usually fantastic. I didn't like the song for him. This was my least favorite from Triston so far. I just wasn't feeling that for him. I feel like his inexperience is showing the past three performances in a row. He needs to go back to the level of his last week's Sunday night performance. There were some shaky and pitchy moments, but a few good moments. I need more moments from him. He's got to find a way to wow everyone again because he's falling behind now. He has the worst stats now on Facebook.
