The spotlights usually are longer cause they reveals the mechanic and more of the champion’s followers/spells but as they are all already revealed this time they probably didn’t see a reason to show more than just morg and her level up/VFX

Champions tend to be designed in pairs and we still likely have a 3rd expansion of this set to go, so curses are probably gonna get expended on in the next expansion (especially as suppression has sylas on it).

It seems that the curses are created on the opponents hand, so either they spend the 2 mana or keep the curse, and on top you can also play cards that increase the card cost. Of course discards deck would be a good counter.

A really interesting idea for a champ. She seems very strong on the surface by herself but the supporting package doesn't seem to back Morgana up enough to really do too enough to warrant slots in too many decks. We'll have to see once she's actually in game but I like how it looks so far and definitely like the idea of playing with "debuffs" for a champion.

I think you misunderstood her 3 star power The cost increase is not part of the first sentence, there is no stacking here, the +1 cost is a permanent aura that is always active and cannot be interacted with (unless there is some Riot wording trickery going on, but I doubt it)

Having curses with Demacian cards that increase the cost of spells really tightens the grip on the opponents mana. It also adds an unwanted card to your hand, limiting your draw. All in all the shackles are trouble if played right

I think the curses have a pretty extremist design. If they can be targeted, they're absolutely trash and can literally lose to any measly discard deck. What will occur however, is that people will not only play discard decks, but add to their normal decks some cards that allows discarding, making everything much worse. Morgana would be a dead-on-arrival champion if that is allowed. If they cannot be targeted, then there is no counterplay against her, and she is going to absolutely destroy aggro and control decks at the same time she builds big boards.@@abdurrahman-vf9in

I think that's what the main strategy is, curse their champ with shackles and force them to waste mana on suppressor and shackles even better with demacia having cards that passively increase the cost of spells

@@snule349 how are curses countered by mord? that doesn't even make sense... curses are locked onto your cards/into your hand until you pay the mana to break the curse and one of the curses (the demacian one) prevents all spellcasting until the curse is broken.

Looks super cool in constructed decks. She is useless in Ultra Rapid Draw until she levels up, but man she seems really punishing in demacia if raise the cost of the those curses. Sick animation. Ruby-Eyed Conjurer is absolutely disgusting. Mage seeker inquisitor also seems really strong too. Works in URD if you can get him off of warmothers or somehow cheat him out while you have the attack token. He’s super punishing to players that run a fine line with their mana management.
