I would say that it probably won’t taste bad! I eat ice cream cake that isn’t made out of ice cream but they use ice cream as the frosting! But no I don’t have a DQ in my country. I will love to have one tho!

It's pretty good! I can't really describe the taste. I've only had blizzards and dip cones. I've never had a cake. Blizzards are really just thick milkshakes and the dip cones are.. dip cones

@@404sky8 I had a cake once because my family was going through some stuff so my mom bought me and my siblings an ice cream cake. It's pretty much cake in the middle then it is covered in ice cream on both sides then you have frosting on the outer layer. Delicious but very very sweet.

For us it's 2 months until you learn grill, ice cream is the first thing you get taught & if you don't improve within the first 2 weeks you'll probably end up on register all the time

I've worked at two dairy queen locations so I feel like I should know this but I don't have an actual answer. I do have a theory though, well two. 1 the "ice cream" we use isn't REAAAAALLY ice cream? It's butter fat content is 5% but to qualify as ice cream it needs to be at 10% that might have an affect on how it sticks to the inside of the cup or cone but my main theory is the amount of air, it's soft serve which means it has more air content, I'm assuming the amount of air bubbles creates more surface area to grab onto the cone with(?) I'm also 17 and know very little about this so take what I say with a grain of salt

Long and/or fake nails are a nest for bacteria. Have you ever seen a doctor or a nurse with fake nails?… this is the reason why… if you work in food industry here you’re not allow to have fake nails and must have good nails hygiene.

You'd be surprised how many adults don't know how soap actually works, and how long you're supposed to wash hands. It's even taught in school. I'm 17, and I properly scrub my hands for at least 30 seconds, and I clean my nails. I've seen my cousin's friends all lick their hands, and use the same wet wipe one by one to clean the saliva off their hands. They licked their hands AGAIN, then proceeded to use that same saliva drenched wet wipe to clean their hands again. I nearly vomited from the site. This is the state of people when it comes to hygiene. I have a strong fear of touching people because of this, especially hands.

Not to mention those nails. I didnt know people can handle food with such long nails

@@SP4C1AL_ It's also a safety hazard that could contaminate food. Long nails gather bacteria under REALLY fast, and you're required to wear gloves. She should have said something about this too, but what she's doing is most likely showing an example. Still, it's better to include the safety precautions so someone knows what to do.

You just scoop it out and make a new one depending on your boss they might tell you to store it away so you can have it later at least that was my experience lol

Scoop it out asap, it won't "dry" while you dip it because honestly it takes like 15 seconds to cool after you take it out. The cone coating (chocolate dip) is in a heated container which keeps it warm, the ice cream is cool enough that when the cone coating comes in contact with the ice cream it hardens. At room temperature the cone coating is still liquid but it gets clumpy so even if you drip some on the counter it will still be a liquid unless it's super cold for some reason
