The name of your mannequin should be Missy Lainie. Because she looks like she made out of miscellaneous parts. The definition of Missy is a young girl and the definition of Lainie is torch, beautiful, light, bright, shining.

Beautiful! Still my favorite MH movie. Claire and Chad were so fun, and I thought at least Lilith would show up again. Like, imagine her monster hunting family’s reaction to her hanging with monsters, it works for What We Do in the Shadows! Fun fact: When my sister and BIL visited the first time since I put my dolls on display, they were so confused by Jackson and asking if he was actually a MH doll until I told them his name. Other fun fact: My dad actually got defensive when I said Frankie had a “Frankensteiny” forehead. Think it took him a moment to get who she was. He is an English teacher.

Yellow/golden eyes are rare but they do exist naturally. I have a cousin who has golden eyes. They look kind of hazel until the light hits them and you realize that they are yellow. They are a darker gold and not so much a bright yellow. They are really cool!

Sorry to say I had to watch this video on mute because the sound you had in between edit cuts was killing my ears. Something about that frequency was just too painful. I am one of the people that firmly believe MH & Mattel missed the opportunity to make her and all the other one shot characters when they relaunched their line. It would've been a great way to draw in the OG fans as well as the new. They wouldn't need to revamp them or change body types, they simply could've been on original forms. Heck, even a pack set of the like, the top 5 most requested characters like Claire, Andy, Van Helscream... either way. I really wish these had been officially put out. (Along with the shadow ghouls that you did such an excellent job on) ❤❤❤ I always love the work you and Emily create 👏

I am also trying to learn doing repaints by watching your videos and idk what I am doing wrong. I spray the doll’s face with msc and then I am moving on to drawing the eyes etc. But the pencil (I use a mechanical one just like you) is barely visible and I don’t know how to draw the eyes otherwise. Can anyone help me out pls :(

Are you letting the msc dry properly? I’ve heard it can cause issues if it isn’t properly dry. If that’s not the problem maybe try using watercolour pencils instead since those are what most of us use for doll repaints since they layer a lot nicer. Or maybe try pressing down harder or growing over the same spot more to make it darker like you do on paper, I don’t know if that’ll work though cuz I’ve never actually seen anyone use a regular mechanical pencil for a doll repaint before this video.
