Sooo I'm old enough to actually own the original by the late Natalie Cole! I'm a massive Morissette fan (as many know so full disclosure there) she did MASSIVE justice to the original. I am not a critic. When it comes to her. I trust that SHE and those close to her in her circle handle that area, NOONE is harder on themselves than an artist like her. When it comes to her I'm an encourager , theres enough people out there as we say in America " Monday Morning Quarterbacking" . You did say some things I totally see ,and that is, she has the "thing" that has no word that draws you in. I have said the same,when she performs you hang on her every word and cannot look away. Heaven forbid she smile mid lyric, because thats just the end! 😂 Uggghh. My fanheart grows ten fold ❤ I only see amazing things for her future. Thanks for featuring her yet again! I forgot to add, she mentioned this was requested by her makeup artist Miko! How sweet is that! ❤

One thing to expect from MGN..... an honest reaction. Most reactors won’t say that this wasn’t one of Morissette’s better performances. Especially since many reaction channels were, initially, built on Morissette’s Rise Up, Secret Love Song & Akin Ka Nalang performances. They won’t dare be honest. But my man Ovela is. His subs know how much he appreciates and holds Morissette in high regard. But he’s honest with his praise and critique. 💯👏🏼👍

I've listened to it literally 2,000 times over the past 30+ years. This was one of the best performances i've ever heard of this song. Kindly point me to a more powerful rendition of this song LIVE on youtube. I'd LOVE for you to show me. And Ovela, i love your reviews generally, but i think you're dead wrong in saying that she missed a few pitches here. I'd like for you to point out the timestamps where she missed a pitch. She was spot on the entire time at least in terms of pitch.

One of the many things that makes her great is the fact that she's not afraid to become unpretty when performing. A lot of the other singers here are so into being cute and pretty forgetting that they have to relay the message of the song.

That's how we fell inlove and became a fan of Morissette. The first time I saw her perform, I was mesmerized. Every performances, she gave it her all and the emotion you can feel it. You can't help but to watch her til the end of the video and then jump to another performances. She made me an addict. Lol. I don't know, but I just really love watching her perform. By the way, check her "I'll Never Love Again". Same venue.

Old songs just take on new meaning when she sings them. Cant explain it. It touches you emotionally when she sings the words like no other artist can. When she sang, "And I miss you..." near the end, my heart was a puddle.

By the way, the venue Thurderbird is not among the best venues here. It is huge, yes, but the sound system and its quality is not at par with the bigger one like MOA or Smart Araneta Center. But in spite of that, she still sounded great and she delivered. She's very in demand. And humble that she is, she performs even if it is a small event or the venue is not too popular, etc.
