She sings with such swag and that’s what I love about her!!!

Brought me to tears. Just an absolute emotional delivery of the song it really got me. I have heard this song before by Sara berreiles I mean it’s a great song by her but Morris delivery just got me. Tears are fallin here.

Those growls further emulated the emotion of that particular part of the song though, and it damn fits in the lyrics. I must say this song is better sang this way rather than theatrical.

Growls are her trademark. On the same stage session, she covered Barbara Streisand's MEMORY w/o growl though as in her acappela cover on Olivia Rodrigo's DRIVERS LICENSE. Also on quarantine, she did a bubbly cover on FLY LIKE A BIRD by Maria Carrey w/ her whistle, another trademark. Try it and fly with her , you ain't going to regret it. It was nice of you reacting to Mori. You said 'reverb' on her performance. That performance was done during the quarantine in her home. Filipinos don't actually like auto tune/reverb. Mosit vocal coaches (more than 100) who reacted to her knew so well that she never use reverb/autotune. I actually start to question your 'true knowledge' of live performances (radio & home she normally does). You might want to check out her 2017 & 2028 live performances in the Asia Song Festival.

I will say I have been entranced by Morissette for the past 30 months, and had never heard this song til she did the 6 Broadway Musicals in her " Quarantheme" covers. I have seen the Shoshana Bean video and it was as what you'd see in a theatre...the acting portrayed the emotion, but Morissette used her signature growls and vocal cries to make you feel the pain and emotions.
